Looks great! I’ve used Polyfiber to thicken up epoxy to get a textured wood effect to make prop trees. Depending how much you use It turns it from a little thick to like a cake batter. It allows you to paint it on a vertical surface without it slumping. Great job.

These videos are great and the techniques can be applied to many different things. My dilemma though is that all of these are surface viewing. I was asked to do some switch plates with a wood look, but in order to do that, I would have to use your technique in reverse order. So how would I be able to do that without being able to see the bottom which once demolded, would be the top?

How are the countertops holding up to the wear and tear of normal use? Are they pretty scratch resistant? They look fantastic, but I'm concerned about the longevity and durability of them.

Our products are actually industrial coating made for military aircraft hangers, etc. So theoretically in a residential, or even commercial setting it will last forever. This is NOT a cheap epoxy paint that you will commonly find at box stores like Home Depot or sherwin Williams. It is a thick 100% solids epoxy coating.

We are just doing sample kits so we apply it over MDF. If we were to apply to a countertop or floor we would always use primer.

I tried this with a 3/8 inch nap roller and I had roller hair fibers in my epoxy.
