Just a tip, use Shockwave in high Mythic+ really useful against Bolster when the tank herds large numbers, just time it right you help shrug off lots of damage this way.

I came here for Mastery breakpoint/softcap. How much % should I aim for before moving thoughts to Versatility? I already have 25% Haste and 70% Mastery with 10% Versa and 17% Crit. Average DPS single target 1.4mil. Average cleave DPS 3 targets 1.6mil. 2.4mil 5 targets. I don't have that ring legendary for the free execute but I understand it's BIS.

Wouldn't it be better to take overpower? I was thinking that it would be useful when you are on a rage drought, so you can do damage while it builds back up. What I mean is, when it procs, save if until you need to use it when you get low on rage.

Yep, guide quite dated now but you can take Overpower to use during droughts.

Is it worth it to do the leap/charge trick on fury too ? or do you miss too much since your auto attack speed is that much faster ? Since rage buildup is much more important in fury than in arms, it would be interesting to know if i should try to do it or not.

I have a question, i've been leveling an arms warrior. I'm up to level 35, and in most of the dungeons I have done I've been the lowest of the 3 DPS'ers in the group. Is it typical for warriors to not do great dps in leveling dungeons? If I'm doing something wrong I'm trying to figure out what so i can improve.

Your dmg in dungeons will get better as you get higher level, you still missing the most powerful abilities for it.

Make sure you have elemental force enchant on weapon and satyr enchant on neck. That will seriously boost your love level damage

Heard a lot of bad things about Arms warrior lately (compared to Fury) but i tried Fury and the spec really didn't fit me at all. I love the idea of being a heavy plate wearer who's all up in the boss's face. But fury just felt like i was dancing around all over the place.

if you dont have the Col Sash Debuff on your Target, i dont think its smart to use 2 executes before Col smash. Better Use Col Smash if you dont have the debuff on already, then use Execute twice and if those executes refresh your Col Smash cooldown, use ColSmash before Mortalstrike if you dont have ColSmash up against , just use Mortalstrike without it otherwise you are using 2 executes without the ColSmash debuff, and you are wasting 2 chances of refunding the ColSmash Cooldown if you dont use it before

Nice effort, you've gotten a lot of things wrong though. To make the ravager + CoF build viable you also need to master the timing of dropping ravager, waiting a bit, and then popping battle cry + mortal strike. The reason for this is that it takes a while for your ravager to actually deal damage and throwing out a mortal strike from the 4-set bonus. If you time it right you'll get a shattered defense buffed 100% crit mortal strike from not only the one you cast but also from the ravager which is very important. Also, you never rend after you've used colossus smash unless you're about to entre your battle cry window. Instead you always use Colossus smash and mortal strike/execute together and once you've used up your shattered defense buff, granted you didn't get a new tactician proc, you'll use rend. Stat weighs are also plane wrong. Mastery will always be your go-to stat. Thereafter things changes quite quickly. You want to hit the 10% haste breakpoint, and preferebly the second breakpoint too which allows you to get a second GCD into your battle cry window after your bladestorm. Once you've gotten those 2 breakpoints haste becomes quite unimportant. You're way better of going to Versatility at that point. Crit and strength are still at the bottom though. Sorry for the rant, but people should know the truth

It's fine mate, I appreciate people commenting on my mistakes if done in a mature way, the idea is for people learn even if it's from a comment. :) The only thing I wanted to add is that, I never said Mastery stops being your go-to stat, it always is, just that if you happen get more haste for whatever the reason, will still will benefit in a good way....but discussing stats at higher levels is really quite useless isn't it... since that can change for almost everybody.

Selwen so... At what % unbuffed does tempo become redundant and versatility more desirable? I am hovering around 27% haste unbuffed right now and am wondering if I should switch up my enchants to get more mastery instead. Is there a clear % floor for haste? I mean that after I reached for example 25% or 30% that I should drop extra haste and look for vers in my gear.. great guide, I took some inspiration from it :) cheers mate
