I needed this a week ago lol. My legion go for some reason crashed during mid game. After some research i found out that basically the booter wasn't popping up. So I came to the conclusion on re-installing windows 11 but I didn't know it is a specific one I need to download for my Legion Go. Thank you for the info on how to do it. Will come back to this video and let you know if it worked or didn't because if it doesn't work.... I’ll have to pay $50 to someone to change the memory

@@DeletedDique oh wow, if you have access to another computer, you should never need to replace the SSD. And definitely don't pay for it! Glad you found the video 😁 Keep us posted on your progress!

@@InnoVisionGames so tried this method and it didn't work, Unfortunately i had to send it back to Lenovo to get fixed. What my IT friend is telling me is the issue was possibly the SSD Drive is corrupted, because all systems i tried to download onto the Legion Go wasn't accepting it. I tried Windows 11, WIndows 10, Linux, and the verson you recommended. But thank you still for this video, if this didn't work I know nothing else will work.

@@DeletedDique thanks for keeping us posted! Yea the disk we use in this video is the one Lenovo provides to factory restore the device. Sounds like it's either the NVME SSD or possibly the NVME controller itself. Hope it's just the SSD drive as the latter is not an easy fix and would likely need a main board replacement.

Great video! Question, if i installed bazzite without dual booting and want to go back to windows, can i use this method? Thank you
@InnoVisionGamesКүн бұрын
@@Ghost__4414 great question, and glad you liked the video! Absolutely, the method we describe here is effectively factory restoring your Legion Go. Just found your channel and I am really enjoying the content. I like your slow approach in the tutorial videos. I did have one question. I noticed you had Bazzite partitions on your drive. Have you done away with it. It’s such a pain to install so I just leave it on but thinking of doing the same.
@InnoVisionGames2 ай бұрын
@@12655rsohne happy you found us and are enjoying the content! I was actually having some problems with my Windows installation and decided to reset everything back to factory settings. I haven't reinstalled Bazzite yet, but am planning to do so. I was thinking about putting a video together (even though some already exist). I find my Legion Go runs cooler with Bazzite, but also find myself booting into it less and less since the latest round of Legion space, FW, and GPU driver updates. Also I find myself having to maintain two sets of software, pretty much at any given time I have to install updates in one or the other. This means more time spent in maintenance and less in playing. To be honest, if I could use gamepass natively in Bazzite, I would probably get rid of Windows entirely. In your specific case, if you need the additional storage space and find that you do not use Bazzite, it seems reasonable to want to remove it.

Hey bro great video. I need to do this. Do I need to connect a keyboards and mouse can I do with legion cause I don’t have a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse.
@InnoVisionGames2 ай бұрын
@@deepakkarda1448 hey bro, glad you found our video! Absolutely I would use a USB mouse and keyboard, because the Bluetooth drivers may not be available until the installation is completed. In the comments in the video we provide a link to the USB-C dock we used. Not that any USB-C dock with power passthrough will work. At the time we made the video, the official Lenovo dock was not available, but now it is. We would recommend using the official dock if you are able to get it, here is the link: www.lenovo.com/us/en/p/accessories-and-software/hubs/hubs_hubs/gx91p83696?orgRef=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.google.com%252F&srsltid=AfmBOoo1ZLsd_LWRYHnsj3xJIMQJHO3sVu9qjidI4KwzbqWEc-cYs4Kr Check out our video review of the official Lenovo dock. @@deepakkarda1448 definitely go with the dock it will keep things easier, reduce the chance of devices not being recognized during the installation, and allows you to use any USB devices. Very good video. I did exatcly what you said, but there is no option for loading the recovery media while booting the system. It doesn't appear, no matter what I do.

@@Alcino87 happy you found our video and you are posting here in case others run into the same issue. In some cases the choice of USB flash media can affect whether or not the Legion gGo can detect it as a bootable media. Can you also please share if you are using a dock and any other relevant details? Here are a few things to try: 1. Try a different USB flash device if you have others available. 2. Try a different USB port on the dock/hub if you are using one. 3. Try having the Legion Go completely power down. Plug your USB media into the dock/hub. Then plug the dock/hub into the Legion Go. Then try powering up with the button combo to go into BIOS mode. You may have to try this a couple of times. 4. If you have power going into your dock/hub, try all of the suggestions from 3 above but with the power cable disconnected. Let us know how it goes! Does this Work aswell with Legion go it Debloats everything when Installing Windows kzbin.info/www/bejne/pnWoi3d6lMx4mNE
@InnoVisionGamesАй бұрын
@@sizzlack095 if the plan is to use an unattended installation process you will need to ensure the drivers have already been slipstreamed into your Windows installation media. We do not cover that here as the Lenovo installation media already has the base drivers slipstreamed into the media. The process we documented here is for most people, whereas an unattended installation is more geared towards advanced users and folks with decent IT experience. To that end the installation medium Lenovo provided is fairly automated other than a few user inputs needed to configure some user specific settings like username and login info It's also worth noting that the install disk Lenovo provides is fairly bare bones and free of bloat, only a few things need to be removed afterwards.
