I'm a music obsessed American guy and I thought this performance was phenomenal. There were 37 countries competing for first place in this competition so it makes sense that fans of many of those countries would "dislike" this video because their country's entry didn't win.

Great reactions. Don’t take notice in dislikes with Eurovision videos as most of them come from bitter people who can’t accept their fav didn’t win or from closed minded people. Thanks for loving our contest. Croatia was my fav but in the night this overtook it. The performance was beyond phenominal. Love from the UK

People are terribly angry. Nemo deserved to win, it was the best performance at Eurovision. Many people are childish about the fact that their favorite did not win, so they need to insult the one who won, despite their talent 🤷🏼‍♀️

The dislikes are just there because of people who were rooting for something else The singer is also non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, so they also get hate for that. The song is about that (note the lyrics "Somewhere between the 0s and 1s, that's where I found my kingdom come")

unfortunately yes, the reason why there are so many dislikes is related to the outfit the singer decided to wear: nemo is part of the transsexual spectrum (non-binary) and a lot of people didn’t like that. another problem was that the winner and the runner-up were close in numbers and a lot of dislikes also come from people that wanted croatia to win

No it's because of hate against biology from the "Non-binary"-Side ;-) I like his Song and Performance and I'm even impressed by it, but I will still not tell him "they/them" or stuff like that.

Les français sont fâchés arce qu'ils jugent que Slimane aurait du gagner alors qu'il est quatrième. Alors ça insulte la tenue, la non-binarité etc de Némo... avec tous les "c'est trucés, les juges ont été payés etc" c'est pour la plupart des mauvais perdants... faut voir le match euro 2020 France,Suisse ils ont fait une pétition pour rejouer le match car il acceptent pas de perdre

Great reaction. I'm here kinda late. About the ratio, it is a contest and obviously people who thought others need to win pressed that dislike button. As it goes for Nemo as a winner, they (non binary) were amazing with such unique voice and so many different styles. The moment I saw their video it was my favorite. There were many others that were good as well but it seems since Croatia took second many were angry because according to televise they won, since jury was more supporting Nemo, Nemo took the first place. No hate here, I loved Croatia and Baby lasagna but to me, it was a banger with not that complicated lyrics etc while Nemo showed their abilities to sing in so many ways, that's why my vote will always go to Swiss. Another thing about the dislike thing, Europe is not America and we have very different minded people here, for example I come from Northern side of Europe, in the past we were in the Soviet Union and let me tell you that people still have the same opinion about things as they were 50 years ago. The hate I saw on social media once Nemo won was disgusting, they wore skirt and PINK, imagine that!? They are offending everyone and should not even exist. There are people saying they need to be in psychiatric ward because of their clothes or lifestyle. It is sad. Not all Europe countries are this way but many are. It is sad but I don't believe their way of thinking will ever change. Today I read a comment, Nemo never should have won because they could choose to be with a man and never have children, how dare they can do that. Because apparently the only thing you need to do in life is to get children and then die. So yeah, you can guess a bit about nature in many countries in Europe and their opinion.

There are many factors to the like dislike ratio. For starters the fan favorite contestant was disqualified a few hours before the event took place because of the performer allegedly attacking a camera woman. another reason might be because someones favorite song didn't win because some of the songs were wild and good aswell. And the third possible reason would be transphobia due to Nemo being non-binary and coming on stage eith the swiss and non binary flag. So yeah a lot if factors are in this but personally i think Nemo deserves the win. Sure the song Europapa (the disqualified song) was better but Nemo also deserved it.

Weak comments to Nemo, please consider many professional Singers who commented on Nemos performance, to learn what it means to sing so great and to move your body at the same time. How important is your comment whether you are shaved??? Nonsense.
