@@espresso_makes_depresso5905 the mission where you recruit Legion triggers a story event that you need to save for near the end, where you can only do 1-2 more missions before finally passing through the Omega-4 relay. If you wait any longer than that, a lot of crew members can die during the mission. But a lot of them can die if you aren't adequately prepared either, so you have to complete nearly all the preparations before recruiting Legion. Or at least, I think it worked like that.

@@Rascus75 I just did the suicide mission a day ago. I didn't recruit Samara or Thane only had two people unloyal and yet I was able to save everyone without deaths on insanity. I was worried I was going to lose people but no one died. Makes me think that if you have Zaeed, Garrus, and Grunt loyal the hold the line will have everyone live.

@scaryninja1693 Grunt is a krogan, that is to be expected whereas Jack is like she is due to the torture and experiments she went through as a child as well as the rest of her generally shit life. She suffered massivly and opens up to Shepard when she develops feeling for him/her because she sees Shepard as someone trustworthy to help and protect her. Regardless of her fucked up life, she still killed loads of people before you meet her and she is a psycopath so I would rather not piss her off.

While most robots have small traces of humanity about them due to their creators 'in my own image' approach to their design, most of them lack that extra human insight or logic that tells them a situation does not always require a black and white solution. E.g One of you is an impostor, threat detected, kill all suspects. Legion has that extra logic that makes Geth creepy beause they are both powerful and as intelligient as organic life.

Most robots in movies/games etc.. have a habit of simplifying human behaviour, hence why they have a tendancy towards trying to paint their metal worlds with crimson goodness.
