If salvation depends on my obedience, sincerity, faithfulness etc then it's not by grace. By grace means no works. For if by works then it's not grace.

It says I'm created in Christ for good works AFTER BEING SAVED in verse 8. Salvation cant be done thru works(obeying commands/prerequisites) so that: 9 not of works, lest anyone should sboast.

A lot of believers doesn't know how to apply this verse. Workout your OWN salvation. You already have it. Use your salvation for it is God who works inside you...

I am so Blessed that Jesus Christ has found me when I was in the pit of my own self' righteousness.
