The part about overcoming breakups - I had a similar revelation in a situation similar to that one, but my takeaway wasn't so much that the feeling isn't unique to that person, it was more like: "Oh, I've been here already, I know what this is about, I know it will pass, it's okay." And this realization helped me not only speed up this normally looong process, but actually enjoy it for the growth it is bound to bring.
