Because that transmission was originally mounted upside down, now the slave cylinder for the clutch is upside down and the bleeder is on the bottom instead of the top. So you’re not going to get all the air out of it the way it is. You need to take it off and turn it right side up so the bleeder is the highest point then bleed it and reinstall it.

Hey Alex one thing I noticed- the bleeder screw is at the bottom on that slave cylinder. It may not be getting all the air out of it. I wonder if it was flipped over possibly? I know that's not the actual problem, but definitely can make a difference in the feel. Also please drive this thing back home! Lol

IIRC, VT stands for Viscous Traction. The Diablo VT was essentially the first AWD Lamborghini super car. It essentially used the same AWD setup as the LM002 which used a viscous center differential, hence the Viscous part of VT.

Gemini says the VT badge stands for viscous traction. The newer models diablo had this to help with stability. It's supposed to be a sort of all wheel drive.

I used to be a bit of a car nut back then when I was in college. The 1989 Lamborghini Diablo VT was a 4 wheel drive car using a viscous clutch that would kick in the front wheels if the back wheels spun. It was was the first Lamborghini with power steering and power breaks. This made the car FAR more drivable. It had a V12 5.7L engine (350ci engine). The refreshed the car 10 years later and upped it to a 6L engine. Not sure if they changed the body or other things. I do know it was still 4 wheel drive. I got out of following the car scene so close by then. The exhaust SUCKs on that car.
