The LEGO Group today revealed the 10307 Eiffel Tower set, the tallest LEGO set ever! It has a whopping height of 149 cm / 58 in and contains 10,001 pieces! I will share all the avialable details with you in this video from the press package, but there's much more! I had a chance to take a closer look at the build in Billund and talked to the lead designer of the set, so you get some exclusive hands-on footage and background information!
The LEGO Eiffel Tower set is available from 25th November 2022 via LEGO Stores and at LEGO.com/Eiffel at the recommended retail price of £554.99/ €629.99 / $629.99 / 999.99 AUD / 799.99 CAD

Sure, it's gigantic, not many people asked for it and it's gonna take up so much room, but unlike something like the Hulkbuster or Black Panther bust, this set is absolutely incredible, they took the source structure and translated it amazingly into a model. Sure, it might cost less to actually go see the proper Eiffel Tower, but this proves to be an incredible conversation starter.

I think it's absolutely beautiful and a great tribute to an architectural and engineering marvel. However, I'm only intending to buy two of the more expensive sets released this year (space, money and genre limits my choices) and this isn't one of them. I don't think anyone who does buy it will be disappointed though, it's quite lovely.

Lego's new direction seems to be: bigger and much more expensive! This set is way too big and still an eye watering amount of money for what may be a very repetitive build. I would consider for half the height and price ;) Price in Australia is $999.99.

THE most "adult" set ever made. Impressive? Yes. Accurate? Yes. Complex Structure? Yes. But as boring as it can be. A peace of decoration, and for few people (they are getting a little eccentric). I see it beeing used more for commercial purposes. Another set for that small niche of adults that are not necessarily lego fans. Definitely not what Lego means to me.

Day 1 purchase for me, i have the space for it. But very unfortunate for others who simply don’t have space. I’m curious to know how big Lego collectors will have the space for it I feel they will have to scrap a lot of their lego City to hopefully fit it or dedicate a corner for it which won’t give this set justice to have it in a corner. This set is also very expensive and it’s scary how Lego is releasing these massive expensive sets so close to each other, they may lose buyers who are just fed and discourage that they cannot afford this hobby anymore. Self discipline is key when buying Lego that’s why I stick to Lego technic super cars and a few ideas/icons that are display pieces only. I keep my collection very small and to big sets only worth it. Also rather not get into Harry Potter or stars wars cuz that will just break the bank for a line that’s overrated
