This is so cool and Arizona is my favorite Battleship and I would like to see this guy try and build the Yamamoto or Bismarck but something about Battleships i really like a lot and it’s a sad shame our navy doesn’t have a use for them considering most of them are museums ships or some sunk during WWII

Arizona has fascinated me and is why I first learned and got interested. You also spelt Yamato incorrectly 😅
@dominicf80399 ай бұрын
@@TimeToGetFunkyy I mean, I'm pretty sure it was named after Admiral Yamamoto.
@TimeToGetFunkyy9 ай бұрын
@@dominicf8039Nope! There never was a battleship named Yamamoto, the Japanese didn’t name BBs after Admirals that were still alive, and it is named for the Yamato Province in the heart of Japan. But the names are both similar, so I can see your confusion.

As a warship enthusiast, this build of Arizona is spot on.I especially love that you even put on top of the main turrets the identification color for Pennsylvania class battleship.Awesome work.
@mackenzieblair8135 Жыл бұрын
It was the color identifying which division the ship was in, not the class.

Other than the fact that if the build was representing her before the attack, USS Arizona wasn't grey, but had a dark blue paint instead prior to and during the attack. Other than that inaccuracy very good build. Though one other inaccuracy USS Arizona was not the first oil fired US battleship that distinction goes to USS Nevada BB-36. Love to see in the future USS Nevada in her Pearl Harbor look or post refit look.

He did say she was one of the first ships so I think he knew she was not first.

An absolutely incredible build and tribute to the USS Arizona and its Sailors and Marines. Blessings.

Amazing model of Pearl Harbor's Martyr! One nitpick is the color, with research and documentation, she was actually Mediterranean Blue I think it was called.
@TimeToGetFunkyy Жыл бұрын
i was thinking the same thing, but I dont think theres a brick color that would be close enough so grey fits. And it does! Wowie does it looks nice 🤩
@jesseusgrantcanales Жыл бұрын
@@TimeToGetFunkyy It does! But if desired you could find paints in that and paint them.

I spent 3 days next to Jim at BrickFair Alabama in 2022. He was an absolute pleasure and so kind. His build like he mentioned was a Japanese battleship and it was stunning! If you’re seeing this Jim, what up my friend?! Hope to see you soon!

That protruding underwater portion of the bow was known as a 'ram bow ' . Arizona was the last battleship to have this feature.
