I do not understand the difference between this and the forest hideout. -They are about the same piece count -They are remakes of old sets -They are GWPs The only difference is that one is medieval and the other is space themed. Please explain why should the FH be a normal set

The use of stickers instead of prints is a bit disappointing, but other than that this looks like a pretty awesome GWP that would pair very nicely with the classic galaxy explorer.

I do like the aesthetic of his displayed sets in the background. Plenty of other channel do the all white background. But truthfully, I didn't even notice the change until I read your comment so... Lol

I never had the invader, but I LOOOOVE retro stuff! I was born in the early 2000's so I didn't get any of that stuff, but I really like collecting retro remakes and such. I like the lego NES too even if it isn't a remake of a retro set. I also like the newer mini NES

It was interesting seeing other stuff I haven’t seen in other reviews here like the fact that this new Blacktron figure has back torso printing as well as the size comparison with the Galaxy Explorer. I’m really excited for this though. I loved the space themes I grew up with like Galaxy Squad & Space Police III & the Galaxy Explorer was my favorite set this year with how great of a set it was. I didn’t have enough on my January to buy list already I would definitely go out of my way to get this.

I love Blacktron! I’m definitely getting this! That series of Blacktron came just before I got into LEGO as a kid. The the second series of Blacktron, Mtron, and Space Police out when I was in elementary school. LEGO is how my best friend and I connected. He had so many LEGO sets!

Honestly, I'd rather just bricklink out the pieces I need to build this myself, considering it's all stickers. I give it a month or two before 3rd party stickers show up. Heck, even that front piece was printed way back in the day and only cost like $5.

I sold my entire 70’s 80’s 90’s 2000s collection back in 2021. Kept a few sets - The Blacktron Invader was a set I sold. New with Box and instructions. Although the GWP Cruiser is a direct update re- imagined, what strikes me about this reboot is that the pieces back in 1987 were so much cooler and stronger. 4 specific examples : 1) The Robot had a cooler body piece used at the time. 2) The middle cargo piece was a solid piece and was printed. 3) The clear red transparent panels in the back were nicer. 4) finally the black connector pieces were stronger and less flimsy then the clasps used in this update. The motion arrows, were on the original showing where you could attach and take apart the pieces of the ship. At the time for Lego that was such a exit from their normal pallet of colors that they always went with. They rarely, if ever produced in black, accept for City Police - so it was a great variation to what they produced from the preceding 30 years........ You can view my collection being sold on Atlanta Brick 🧱 Company - 5-31-2021 OG Classic Star Wars Lego Hauuuuuul. There you will see the mint condition of half of my collection I sold. Including the original Invader.

I honestly don't understand the 18 and up. No Lego set should be 18 and up. I'm assuming it's because some people think adults can't build or "play with" a set that says 12+ or whatever, but if we have these "18+" sets it just makes it even worse because it's like Lego is saying that as an adult you can only buy these 18+ sets. Not to mention that the 18+ label makes you think it contains adult content, violence or something? All Lego sets should be 12+ or 16+ at most as a difficulty training, and this set definitely isn't a 16+ in difficulty.
