That is a pretty cool looking build right there. Have you thought of doing another vehicle build using Boost, making it look like a Minifig or two are in control of the machine as it's driving along?

Hi JANGBRICKS, thanks for this review (and all the other LEGO ones as a matter of fact - great work! ). Beeing engineer I also find some limitations with LEGO Boost so I understand your point, but as my 9y old son now is playing with it I see LEGO did a great job with this! From perspective of the target audience (and thieir parents!) this is a great system - it's accessible, it's fun and I was supprised how quickly from opening the box you can set up something that acually is fun to play with (and not only for kids!) As a parent I also like that it is really easy for kid to set up, code and modify on their own - and after hours of play I can inspire son with new ideas to code for more complex fun. We haven't yet tried all the builds so there is even more potential, but already I feel that for the price this is exellent value. My son is into robots so that may influence a bit our reception of the set but generally I feel this is a very interesting educational set It is also a lot of fun at the same time! (additional point for really good and funny translation as we live in Poland and this is localized great!) my advice if/when reviewing the whole package try to see the kids' experience - I think this adds a lot to understanding how well this set was designed. Thanks, (on a side note I hope this is a new line and more sensors/potential will be available with expansion sets :) )

Especially considering the obvious limitation (functionality) that you had to work with, this looks amazing. Beautifully built up all around-you are easily one of the most skilled LEGO builders in the world. Also, (this is NOT disregarding your explicitly laid-out wishes), regarding LEGO Life, I just wanted to offer encouragement. With the possible exception of the 0.091022869495961% or so folks who hit the "dislike" button, we viewers will likely be absolutely blown away despite your already-professed dissatisfaction with the models. "You're always your own worst critic" certainly holds true, but it practically always drives you to try for better. Which, to be perfectly honest with you, might be getting more and more difficult-it's hard to beat a 99.999999995329234578021% perfect KZbin channel, particularly when it's your own. Keep building, keep inspiring, keep reviewing!

Hey Jang. I have a 6 year old son who is more interested in building his own LEGO creations rather playing with sets. He says he wants to be a programmer. Would you give a thumbs up for a soon to be 7 year old? I’ve always enjoyed your videos and have assumed you were some sort of engineer or programmer.
