Lego Bowling Lane Update: New Pins and Rake!

Hey KZbin! I've got quite the update for you guys! I've been recently given the opportunity to utilize the 3-D printer lab at my college, hardly anyone goes in to print, so I've been getting the whole place to myself haha. I'm really happy on how this project turned out! The pin action is legit and everything! :)

Print out the brunswick or amf logo and the stripes and crown and put them on the pins and you have a real realistic lane

What will look better: get stripes and logo on pins like Qubica Brunswick Linds PBA 1-3 (what makes it good for sound: Twister)

They actually sound like Linds or Winsome pins in slow motion, but they're really quiet.

I remember a few years ago when I made my 3D printed pins, and the heads broke off on a few of them. Did you have any issues with that? The pin action is amazing with 3D printed pins!

I remember! I was inspired by yours.. I did have that problem actually; however, I printed my latest 30 pins with 95% infill density. So far, they have been holding up great. I even stepped on one accidentally and it's still intacted and usable haha And yess, the pin action is phenomenal!

i know its 2022 but did the pins weigh just like the real pin to bounce more or its just the slow motion?

The slowmotion helps you see it better, but they do bounce quite a bit in real time. I haven't compared the weights to see if it matches the scale factor of these pins, so I'm not sure if these weigh like real pins.

Why don't you try making a video of going to a store and getting mini toy bowling pins and use them on the lane for a video
