The 1st one is referring the battleship island, a Japanese concentration camp during WW2. Lots of Koreans were enslaved and died there by Japanese Nazis. Not sure if the designer is a Rightwing Japanese Nazi or not.

Are you talking about the name Hashima? I'm sure this MOC has nothing to do with your suggestion. It is in relation to New Hashima, a giant, dystopian, cyberpunk city collaboration that gained a legendary status at BrickWorld Chicago 2023. Dozens of builders from all over the world collaborated on it and Blake is one of them.
