Nice video! The first castle I saw was bought by my grandmother when I was in kindergarten. When I was in junior high school, I gave the castle to my older cousin. Lego has been cherished from person to person for centuries. Take good care of your collection.

I just want to take all that Forestmen stuff and combine it with the Wolf Pack and build a forest empire on a few baseplates with plenty of trees. Expand each build and MOC them up. The Forestmen sets were smaller than the other factions, but I love how they integrate with the trees & landscape. Let's hope for a multi-faction Castle revival!

Nice…as collector maybe you can answer this question… The guarded in and some other sets seem to be a modular set to be destined of something bigger…is there a picture or maybe or anything? I was looking for a picture of those sets in that era combined. I do have some old booklets upstairs up to 1986 maybe I can find something there. By the way which is your favorite castle? Mine is the lionhearts castle

@@dcbaarswhile we are waiting for the answer, i think the idea was to be able to combine all these sets in the way you wanted, creating something like a village or bigger and more complicated castle ! this perhaps encouraged both to complete the collection and to buy the same set several times! My opinion.!

@trciproductions7978 Im glad you enjoy my video. The minifigures are all still standing in position on the shelf in the cupboard. If I close the door too quickly, some minifigures may fall. Though I don't mind. It gives me an excuse to rearrange the display.

I'm not sure what the set is. The alternate builds on the reverse side of the boxes gave inspiration and great ideas for builds.

I don't think it's too late to start collecting the castle theme. Start by browsing ebay and other online stores. Buy incomplete sets and bulk lots. You will eventually build a collection.

I can't stop looking, completeness and conservation make it a rare and highly valuable collection. Unfortunately there is no king Leo's knight kingdom castle and no one bull knights, why? Do not like?

I have a connection with the sets of the 80's and early 90's when as a child played with LEGO. I can always remember flicking through the toy and LEGO catalogues with my brother looking at the different sets and wishing i could own them. I was always fond of the Robinhood series and hence focused my attention on those sets which still brings me joy today. Today I like to share my collection online with others.

It's hard to calculate the total cost because I bought over many years and began early. Some were also gifts.

I would say it values around 5000$ for all this stuff with forestmen sets as one of the most expensive and hard to find. I wont mention many flaws i've noticed on the video (I'm sure the owner knows about them)... like its missing the most expensive white Dragon plumes with wings from the set 6086 that were exclusively made only for this castle. Boxed castles from 80th and early 90th in new condition may exceed 1000$ per box
