I really enjoyed building the yellow truck. I was able to get it at Costco in the US for $75 but I saw it later on at Costco for $50 as they were trying to get rid of stock to make room for their new Lego stock. I have not seen it there since then.

Some quick context on the truck. In the US it’s a Costco exclusive. That’s why they have the red vests and hotdog stand. (Costco is famous for their $1.5 hotdog meal.) The set is sold there at a great discount

I saw this truck, it reminded me of the old Lego truck set that one of my old friends used to have, when I saw him have it I really wanted it but of course I was a kid so I couldn’t get it and now they release this I bought it immediately because of the nostalgia factor haha

I’m in the USA, I got my yellow truck at Costco. At Costco they are known for their hot dogs and their work vests are red like the figures. So people here think it’s a reference to Costco. Costco is a warehouse store basically and you can get bulk items for cheap. When i got my yellow truck, it was between $60-$70 USD. I haven’t built it yet, but I’m looking forward to it! Looks like fun!

I have both the Scuderia Ferrari trucks (8654 and 75913) and I'd love to see them side-by-side compared with this 60440 set as idk, all the pictures and videos I've seen of the yellow Lego City truck just don't look as big or well designed as the Ferrari trucks, yet it costs more than they did (I guess with inflation they're maybe around the same price). The trailer just looks really unimpressive compared to the Ferrari ones (although I must admit that 8654 looks better in my opinion than 75913, with the curved elements of the trailer and the large panels and the wheel layout/design), rather feels like Lego's truck sets have been going backwards in terms of appearance over the last nineteen years.

Glad you are feeling better. A question I have not directly related to this video, but if anyone knows the answer, you probably do. Why doesn’t Lego provide the 3D instructions on Lego Builder for all the technic cars? For example, the McClaren P1? I won’t buy technic cars any longer if they don’t have the 3D instructions. Printed instructions are sometimes hard to follow on complicated builds.

Double decker sightseeing buses can be found in many countries where people drive on the correct side of the road ;) But as it is LEGO, you can easily rebuild it according to your taste :)

@1:35 - Not a fan of SNOT in official sets. Makes it so much harder to to make additions and modifications than it was back when I was a kid and about the only smooth pieces we had were trans-yellow canopies from the Space sets.
