Lego modular crossbow. It has perfect performance. I don't know what is the maximum range. The feature is in bow construction which gives bigger length of the rope to accelerate bolt. In xubor's one rubberband accelerate it. But i used inelastic rope. it means that thousends shots will have one power (it is really powerfull and accurate :) )
It can be loaded for a really long time without losses of power. Also bolt are stramped after reloading and don't fall out.
and i forgot. I made range test on distance 9 meters.

I wanted to make a little “me space” down in my unfinished basement. I wasn’t looking for something crazy expensive but I did want it to be comfortable kzbin.infoUgkxitRzxya-XugamYgLwa_2G1gxPg4MCJHa as I planned on using it to escape reality and have an inviting place to go when I need “me time”. It came very quickly and it took me maybe 30 minutes to put it all together by myself. I will say, the boxes it comes in are awkward shaped and LARGE. So I did have to have help getting it inside. But it is SO comfy. It’s a little on the firm side but I prefer that. The back is not that attractive but I cover it with a blanket. All in all, I would 10/10 recommend it to anyone.

You can make it more powerful by adding rubberbands on the other side of the "bow part", it would give a bit more strength and make it like it was a wooden part. Personally, I've made a few lego crossbows that used rubberbands as "string" that were more powerful than your model (about 50 feets when shooting outdoor) and I'm going to change it into one like yours.

You're right, my last model exploded and it me just a few inches away from my eye. I've finished my new model 2 days ago, shoots at the same distance as the old one with more stability and security. I'd be happy to see your rifle model :D

I made it. Now i am making my own stock for the air rifle from wood. It is harder then lego :)

need a mechanism to redraw string without pulling on the string. maybe just modify the bolts so they catch the string better (file a notch in the back) and slide them down a chute? although a more mechanical method would be nice. maybe so it could reload like the AK!

Lego is a plastic and it is very breakable plastic. Bow on this crossbow had extrimal tension.(some pieces crashed after shooting). It needs another more effective construction. Btw I made lego rifle that uses only 2 small rubberbands and it shoots bricks on 100+ feets :)

i really need to put my crossbow on youtube, its a similar league to yours except its bull-pup fires cabbab sticks (but at a faster velocity) has an adjustable mono pod at the back but also has a deployable bi pod and an opening receiver for loading the bow is smaller but the pulley system gives a longer draw length

I bought it in the magazine for my air rifle long time ago(i spent 15$) but it wasn't enough for shooting. And I bought much better 3-9x32 leapers scope.( 180 $). And now my old scope is in Lego :)

Because he has strong enough rbs in front of the bow to pull the two sides of the bow back forward. (Bow as in the gig things at the front of the cross bow that the strings are attached to)
