In this LEGO VLOG, I receive the new Eiffel Tower, unbox it, and start the build! What a massive set! 10,001 pieces - that is crazy. In addition to the Eiffel Tower, I also take a detailed look at the Eiffel's Apartment promo set that you get for free when you purchase the Eiffel Tower.

I'd say extend this over a week to a 10 or 11 day stretch. You don't want to do too much at a time otherwise you'll start to see the flaws in a build and with one like the Eiffel Tower, it blows the Colosseum out of the water in terms of repetition. Glad to see you're having fun with the build. I'd say this is harder than any technic you've built as everything has to be in place and on point. Glad you're having a good time with it and keep up the awesome work Bricksie.

If you think about it, this set is for adults, so it takes a bigger attention span, some time, some caution with detail... its meant to be built like a puzzle, a little at the time, when you have some minutes between a meeting and another one, or in a gloomy weekend with some cooffee. Feels great in my opinion.

I hope you can enjoy the building process and not to rush yourself just for the review. Lego building should be fun not stressful. If you extend the building process to a week and share your opinion, people will Appreciate your honest and helpful feedback regardless It's posted on release day or 3 days after release day

Repetitive builds are always very mentally challenging and i cant imagine how it feels when its a set that large but if this is a success i would love if they would continue to do landmarks at this scale that can be put on display or be a centerpiece for lego cities. As a New Yorker i would love an empire state building at this scale

About the smaller bags and more per step, looks like they are preparing for the switch to the new paper bags, that can perhaps not contain too much pieces :)

Ooh the Eiffel tower looks amazing! And I can definitely see what you mean, if I got it I would have to spread the build over 2 weeks. Especially with the twins you have to pace yourself! Good to see you're sharing parenting with Josée so you both get some sleep. Hope she's keeping well, it would be lovely to see you both on video more often.

Have to give them credit for designing it and having it look so close to the real tower. When you placed it on the floor, it took up less space then I thought it would, and it didn't seem to much of a tripping hazard.

To save space you need to affix the Eiffel Tower to the ceiling, upsidedown, over the top of your city. Then you can start building around it and at a stroke you've doubled your work space. It will also allow you to find lots of new camera angles.

Yeah hahaha I usually build like 300 to 400 parts a day max with 1000 plus part sets. I like to spread them out and take it easy with a podcast or morning news or something. Come back for another hundred or two for lunch and if I have time late finish with another hundred or two parts. I usually space it out by steps that require you to open numbered bags. Building 10k Legos in a day is a job for sure even if the set weren't ridiculously repetitive. I like Lego because it's about the journey and any time you see it on display you can really remember the satisfaction of watching it slowly come together. That's my adult Lego experience anyways.

This Set was definetly created with something like "A group of at least 5 friends will likely do that either way" in mind... Because there is no way any of the Designers thought that this entire Set and the reppetiveness (unfortunetly kinda neccessary) would be fine for 1 person to do all of that.

Great video, appreciate the time you take to make these. I think the Eiffel tower would look better on a small table. I think on the ground a lot of that detail on the base will get lost. Perhaps Ikea would have a small square 22x22 (inches) table? Here in the US they carry a table called "Lack"maybe something similar to that but just in the size of the base? Anyway best of luck.

Been awhile since I saw you receive something from LAN and then now two GWPs and the Eiffel Tower. Good to see you have gotten this. 10,000 pieces (gotta remove "one" as don't include the brick separator LOL). I see you have a skeleton (glow-in-the-dark) from Mrs. Bump (Tabitha)...can't wait to see her flowers/lightsaber prints in-person.

I feel like the 4 "legs" sticking out from the 4 baseplate base is going to make it even more awkward to try to place in a city. How far do they extend? Or is the widest part 4 base plates and you just have to fill in the missing few studs worth between the "feet"?

11:00 There is also 112 of the cross pieces! The most repetitive set I have is the Carousel which is a mere bagatelle compared to this or even the SPQR Colosseum. That was okay, but like you I would probably find it very tedious. Plus I haven't anywhere to put it anyhow
