I like to use Fang to run through that part. The animals run much quicker. You dont need to change into him( hermione takes forever letting crookshanks out).

I don't know, but it was pretty mean. Even worse you had to reply the entire chapter arc just to get to that part.

It's not just here. The time races in DC and Marvel heroes. The ice slide in Lego Batman 1. The flag time-jump in the ruined city in Hobbit. I know they want to keep it interesting, but if frustration boils up, I think we lose interest. I don't even like to think how long the mushroom-raise on Dagobah got me on Star Wars. Damn bats.

I totally agree. I only need to assemble the sprinkler in Bartons Farm and I have 100% but for some reason I cannot construct it. I found the confidence course in Rivendell the hardest Mithril Brick in The Hobbit. But I will still buy more of their games.

Now, if I recall correctly, the Barton farm has some of the most obscure and not-at-all-obvious stuff in Lego Avengers. You really have to scour that shire, so to speak. For me, it was in the DLC. Winning a race with Panther's cycle means traffic stopping me every single time, just like in Marvel Heroes 1.

I cheated and did all the races with flying characters like Thor and Jane. The panther cycle race for the achievement was silly but once i worked out how to move the camera so that I was behind the bike it was easy.

Thanks to all the commentators. What worked for me is to have fang as my secondary character and then change into him as soon as the running sequence begins this way you save 2 meters and run faster.

I like and love this game. I re-ordered it for the PS4. That said, I do have a few chronic problems. 1 - Does most everything have to be hidden behind Dark Magic? In one, most of the secrets on that level (Sword & Locket) are all on one cliffside that requires a Dark Wizard. 2 - Harry and Ron freezing up when their fears get them. Great, accurate except they kind of overcome them. Harry even freezes up when the boggart appears, and Ron is required to be there for the initial play of Flaw In The Plan, a level where spiders appear constantly! Also, the spell angles mean the boggart/Dementors almost always get the drop on you. 3 - I know they wanted to convey the frenzy and chaos at the Battle Of Hogwarts, but those Death Eaters apparating by the hundreds every second? It's one thing to have a challenge, but I almost couldn't do anything for how many there were. 4 - Unique game mechanisms like the one you just listed and the Peverells tossing pumpkins at Death. You can't practice them elsewhere; they only appear once, like that remote control boat in Jurassic World. Unless you already know how to beat them, experimentation will go on forever. I also wanted to thank you. Until this video, I thought there was some kind of force-field around the statue that killed you. Now I realize, it was just part of the Dementor effect. Here's hoping.

The Lego Avengers did that too, endless spawning enemies while you try and figure out how to collect the mini kits and red bricks within the level. The boat race was horrible too as the controls never change but the boats direction did. Rage quit a few times doing that challenge.

Pro tip, just did this using Fang as he's much faster (and provided on the level in Free Play), made this much easier! Maybe that's why he's provided?

Actually i got that one on first playthrough but was very confused because i didnt expected the crest part to be there! Then i read in the guide that this one was hard to get and wanted to see how others doing. I find it easy if you know where it is and if u switch to the partner because he is leading

I absolutely, positively, 100% HATE this crest. And I hate that there's no restart stage option in the menu. If you fail here, you have to do this ENTIRE LEVEL OVER AGAIN.

I would switch to fang the dog because he can ran faster than everyone else. Lots of other viewers have mentioned this as well. Good luck👍

There is an even easier solution than fang. Combine if you want massive op Second controller/player slows down the dementors to an INSANE degree.- I messed up so fang was the one doing the stalling... but it was so effective.

@@wintersmith Thats the neat part, you dont need it. JUST need a second controller as a dead mans unit the dementors can attack. I swear by the time i got the crest i had like noticeably over 10 seconds buffered Fang would probably add 1-2 more.

Thanks, I tried using fang but I didn't make it. When I tried it again, I used a second controller for the battle, and had fang as my primary character. During the cutscene, I switched controllers, and used your method. I got the crest piece and made it to the end easily.

I found it a bit easier to use fang since he is faster and jumps farther.

I just got through this part and I used an Animagus, in this case McGonagall, and it was a lot easier than a normal character

I’m so annoyed cause I’m having trouble getting a crest .. the one where they visiting professor slug horn .. ur supposed to fix the tractor with me Weasley and cut away the grass .. it’s not working properly .. also I can’t even play hp 1-4 years cause the lumos button won’t work.. r I having this trouble? Anyone else?

@@drumsalive About the lawnmower, I think there are a few things on the lawn that need running over to unlock the crest. From memory, lumos works when you select the spell, then cast it so that the character can only walk. The wands will be held up when it is working.
