Totally agree, especially for models that resemble flying things. It adds a lot ti the display value and helps it to stand out more amongst regular models.

For me as AFOL, this is an ideal set. The exterior is spot on, and the price is not extremely hight. I love this mid-tier ucs sets (like razor crest and this)

I think this set would be so much cooler if it came with Drax. We haven't gotten a drax figure in years, and he was missing in the previous Benatar. All I need is drax to complete the team

Rocket's head is a whole new piece, it doesn't have the built in shoulder pads like the old ones did.

Im in the same boat, for that price it feels like a steal and it's probably my second favourite now in my collection, narrowly beaten by UCS Slave 1. But that set was 200 bucks, so it's amazing Benatar stands such a comparison. An amazing set overall.

I'm building this right now and it's a great build. Basically a UCS without the 18+ tax and I think the set is super underrated because there is a ton of cool stuff coming out right now. I highly recommend it.

This new Benetar ship looks really amazing! When they came up with the Milano years ago, it already looked very cool, but this one has an even better look and it looks more sturdy as well! Really like it! Nice review, Jang!

Always loved them and when you started making those longer 30 min vids I just didn't have that much time to commit on 1 vid so found myself watching elsewhere, but glad your doing these shorter more manageable and bitesized video again! 30 min vids are still cool from time to time but yay! Another difference on Rocket, is that the head is now movable. The previous versions had shoulder pads molded into the head that prevented head movement.

I'm actually happier with it as a mainline set. This reminds of the older Lego sets from the 2008-2012 era, which, while where pricey, had a lot of detail, play features, and went together really, really nicely. This is the first Lego set in a long time, that I think has features that make it appealing to children, and appreciable by adults. That's what, I personally, have enjoyed Lego as, and IMO, it what it should strive to be at its core. This is the first set I've seen in a long, long time that brings those emotions back for me. I think this is a good set to be open to a wide demographic.

Lego should make a "minifig placement helper" for adult hands. I don't have huge hands, but sometimes I feel like an ogre trying to place a minifig or other part/object.

11:35 fun fact about 'that' new part, Mega Construx / Mega Bloks have been using that same piece regularly for over a decade now. So in a sea of "Lego compatible" brands taking from Lego, Lego are finally doing the reverse and taking from them. How 'bout that.

Other than the lackluster interior of the ship this IMO is the perfect balance between a play scale model and a hugely expensive UCS model. More models like this please Lego.

I really wish Thor and the chitauri was replaced by nebula and drax, Thor makes sense but Thor is more common, but the chitauri wasn’t really needed. I don’t know, I just wish it had all the guardians post endgame

I’m not sure about this set. I live the guardians and I am sooo hyped for Thor love and thunder, also love the new figures. Tho on the other hand I’m not a fan of the cramped space and lack of other guardians. I love the look of this and I think I will get it someday, but I think I’m gonna wait this one out a bit.

If you want to get a complete team you will need to get multiple sets or just buy the individual figures. So with that considered I think this one has some of the best looking guardian figures of any set

I think Lego feels more expensive now, even though a lot of things are still accurate in the price per part range, simply because they are putting a lot more detail into sets using smaller pieces

The thing I wanted most from the old set was more interior space, but with this they improved everything EXCEPT the interior space. Oh well, might snag it if I manage to save some extra money cause it does look pretty cool.

I think lego failed to brand this, it’s clearly a ucs style set, at least it warranted the 18+ black box or something similar. When looking at it from the ucs side I think it’s an excellent model at an excellent price

I'm glad they didn't brand it like that. 18+ has gone too far. I get why they're doing it but not everything needs to be 18+. Sesame Street and Winnie the Pooh don't need to be 18+ with dull black boxes that make the set look boring compared to older sets like The Flintstones or The Simpsons House. They're focusing so much on bringing in new adults who are not lego fans that they make it less appealing to kids and existing lego fans

I'm getting both Milano ships and both benatar ships and making larger, more accurate versions of them. I had the play set of the razor Crest but put as much detail as I could to make it look that much better and feel more like a razor Crest

I'm on the fence about this set. It looks SOOOO GOOOOD, but I have the earlier version with the drop-ship/shuttle/escape pod added and that kind of detracts from this a lot... If I didn't have that, this would be a near instant buy.

Jang keeps talking about this set being more than twice the price of the smaller 2018 version, but doesn't mention once that that set was incomplete - it lacked the pod in the back. If you compare it to the "complete" ship from 2018 you're looking at 90 vs 150 USD.

@@Treeimitation I reviewed all three sets and put the first two together on video. I'm familiar with them. This set here has no escape pod. The set I compared it to has no escape pod. Apples to apples, it's a $150 set vs. a $70 set depicting the same thing.
