The reason the mechanical arm wasn’t working at 11:45 was because it was taking items from the depot as well as the ejector. You need to right click the ejector again to make it an output since ejectors can be both an input and an output

Mechanical Pistons and Rope Pulleys, you can make the simple ''Up & Downs'' and the little more complicated ones that have multiple floors, those need the sequenced gearshift that mumbo used for three seconds, using them you can tell how much the rope pulley/mechanical pistons how much you want them to extend

@Endercake 6860 there are auto iron farms. Iron nuggets are dropped when you bulk wash gravel and gravel can be automated from crushing cobble, and compacting the nuggets in a cauldron makes ingots. This mod is so awesome and i cant wait to see even more

Trust me, redstone isn’t that bad. Just start experimenting with what you already know, trying to figure out what everything does and how it works. You don’t need to worry about comparators at first, because they are confusing. Observers are the best, and should be used in everything. Piston push limit is 12 blocks. The output from an observer is 1 tick (a tenth of a second) which will make a sticky piston spit out its block and unstick. Quasi-connectivity is weird. I don’t know if you even wanted to know any of this.

Yeah, I've been watching his stuff for a while and every time I see a sorting system with hoppers I immediately think "this is just so much easier with literally any mod that adds transport pipes." 1.5 came out a while ago at this point, but people who played with mods had automatic sorting systems years before hoppers. And that's probably applicable for any update to the game after 1.0 - there's probably some mod out there that had been doing what was (at the time) recently added to the game for years at that point. And often they did it better than the official update. Take pistons - they were added in Beta 1.7, and were originally a mod. Pistons can push up to 12 blocks, but I'm pretty sure the pistons in the mod could push up to 16.

If I remember correctly, washing the crushed ore ends up netting you an average of almost 5 times. This mod's crazy.

@@agent_of_nyar Washing the crushed ore gives you a bit more than 1 ingot worth of nuggets and crushing gives you a bit more than 1 crushed per ore. I don't remember the exact numbers, but IIRC it comes out to about 2.2x ore multiplication.
