so many Easter eggs and fan service here. in case you missed it, 8:36, Wolverine with the hot dog, that's a callback to the 95 Fleer Ultra X-Men card set, was part of the Spring Break themed subset along with many other characters. be sure to look up that card set, so much awesome art

Cool. I enjoyed the review! I can't afford this set and I wouldn't have room for it even if I could, but thank you for giving me the chance to experience it vicariously through you! I think the biggest "miss" is that they didn't include Beast. This set is obviously based on the X-Men cartoon and X-Men '97, and Hank McCoy is a major part of that world. Iceman, is not. Drop Iceman, put Beast in there. Seems obvious to me.

The idea is great but looking at the finished product it seems to be less than I expected,lego has set the bar really high in recent years and sadly this doesn't tick all the boxes!

@@logantrimble006 if you love x men then I can see the appeal but for me there are far better marvel sets around,lego have hit so many home runs recently across all the major themes that although not a bad set I just don't think it's in the same league as them!

The depth of this mansion is comical. The grass looks like it's very close in depth to the mansion itself. I was excited to get this set, now I'll be checking out the mods instead. Thanks for the video!!

I can't wait to get this set. I'm so excited to finally get a Lego Gambit, Bishop, and Jean Gray. On a personal note, it's a disappointment this set didn't come with Sabertooth and Mr. Sinister.

Good video but the build isn’t big enough. Small rooms aren’t good for play. Without figs, there’s not much going on.

I agree, this could have been amazing as a story book style opening that revealed a colorful and dynamic interior of the mansion and HQ. The danger room could split in two and have drop down floors, and a fold out cerebro ramp on the other side.... There seems to have been a complete focus to make this a city compatible modular and that took away from its unique play values... why can lego not produce the value even at these high prices? They will easily make a cmf level figure for 5$ So after 10 figs, and a sentinel like 250 just for the mansion.... seems a lot of that cost too is in superflous parts, tiled floors no one will have access to. It is like so easy for them to have made even more like a armored car and police officer and some students to just throw in to help sell it.... must be a toy.... having to plit it up in so many parts takes away from all that.

Over rated set, too expensive, wrong colour jacket for Prof, rooms are way way way too small.. this set could have been absolutely amazing but it just doesnt hit the spot at all.. massive let down

Agreed. Check out all the unused studs on the back, base plate. Could have made it a bit bigger.. will probably moc up bigger rooms - if I buy.
