season 4 of monkie kid is awesome, I really like the sets from it and how the show gradually escalated and became more serialized over time

I think 80012 Monkie King Warrior Mech and 80036 The City of Lanterns are my favorite Monkie Kid sets. These offer great variety in terms of figures, play/display balance, and detailed features for people who can only afford a couple sets to stand in for the series as a whole. Monkie Kid might top Time Cruisers for my all time favorite original theme.

The city of lanterns is my favourite mk set, but i dont have the warrior mech, i got the ultra mech its still an amazing mech though aswell!

Good overview! I always assumed that the little 'mech' at the back the Yellow Tusk Elephant set (80043) covers the size difference of the Elephant figure compared to his partners Lion and Eagle. Bit dissapointed by the lion mech too. I find it pretty small, LEGO should have scaled it up to MK's mechs. Maybe you can line them up in your review?

Tbh I love all of these sets,arguably the weakest one is the cloud airship bc of how it’s a given with monkie kid vehicles,Azure lion is peak! The minifigures are perfect,a cheap way to get azure lion and monkey king but also monkey Mk and pigsy are great as well,not to mention the ink demon which I don’t mind,as well as the build,this might be better than the macaque mech,it’s posable,sturdy and incredibly fierce,with his snarling face and jagged sharp teeth and gargantuan demeanor that’s more intimidating than the macaque mech and the sword and scroll are great accessories for this demonic form,I genuinely can’t wait to get it
