7:11 The use of the lime green brick wasn't too inappropriate since if you look at the sets, the stone warriors used lime green as an accent color for their vehicles

This type of rotationg star-engine was used in planes long time ago. It was quite popular but strange to me, because those planes have propeler attached to engine and the engine spines itself arround the axle.

Lime green at the waist actually makes a lot of sense because canonically they were awakened by the Devourer’s green goo stuff which seeped into them

I think this is the one Legacy set that is without a doubt better than the original. The Monastary is of course better than the old Dojo, but is not necessarily the same thing, and all the other models are up to personal taste. This one comes with a larger and much more appropriately scaled Earth Driller and the *long* awaited Giant Stone Warrior! He's probably my favorite part of the set, I've been waiting for a physical release of this guy since 2013, and after the Kryptarium Prison set I was worried we'd never get it full scale.

That's bothered me over the years especially with LEGO animations. The most recent noticable thing is the Star Scavenger from freemaker, it's made out of most of the same pieces from the set however the size of the ship compared to figures is bloated in the show

I hate the minifigs for the Ninja in the legacy sets, but the sets themselves are most accurate and I appreciate that.

Clever mechanism there because when the rubber wheels are on the ground and the car is stationary they wont rotate, so the knob at the back will still move just the drill thing.so the blue gear with the orange pin acts like a semi-idler gear, it is meshed some of the time and idles at other times.

I like the greenish technic part in the back of the cockpit. To me it looks like some kind of power source. I don't know if it was intentional, but it's an exposed technic frame part that makes some amount of sense.

This version is the one they should have released from the beginning. The fact that it's bigger even makes more sense to the show than the original set, because it was supposed to be able to fit several characters in. Even though the Giant Stone Warrior is cool I could do without it. Also could not care less about the Legacy Ninjas. But the Earth Driller? Spot on.

The back engine is not really an engine, it’s actually where Nya stores Kai’s mech in season two, episode ten, the island of darkness.

I think the OG version of ninjago animation was better like the season 1-7 versions. I haven't watched season 7-9 yet but I like the OG animations better

The 2013 version was a fantastic set. One of the better of the Stone Army wave. Although this looks much more accurate to the on screen ride. Interestingly this one looks to not have one of the neat undocumented features of the old one. Yet that might be what those two clips at the rear were intended for. With the old one you could fold up the small Kai's Fire Mech set and stow it on the rear of the Earth Driller. Much like it was in the show.

This may be one of the few legacy sets I wish had actually been the build that was released instead of the original. This one is more true to the show and of course the giant stone warrior is awesome. Definitely prefer the original minifigs though. These ones just don't make any sense to me.

awww i remember when this was in the show I watched season 1 when it was 2 years old and this was so cool that was before I knew it was a set and like 3 years later I learned there was lego sets but now they're doing these sets i wish they had the original ninja cus these don't look like them at all this is the biggest downfall in my opinion but the sets look ok enough so im happy they at least did them right but what they really should have down is A NEW SEASON!!! but this is ok :P...

Those engine pieces are just intakes for the rear-mounted engine. I like how the drill rotates independently and when you push or pull the drilling machine. Hey Jang, if it helps, I think the engine in the front is probably driving the front wheels and the drill bit, while the rear engine is a different type of engine and used for more movement and extra power. That's how it works in my mind, but if it's more fun for someone else a different way, awesome!

This is a really nice set! I like the drilling feature on the vehicle for Cole, it’s one that they always use for him but it seems to work here. The giant stone warrior looks amazing too, it’s really well done, and I agree with what you said about it being nice to be a replica of a minifig! Great video Jang!

Those light color Bricks are there because when little kids build Lego , and there are black brick on Black big leg build they just don't see on instruction where the brick goes , so the Bricks on black template must be light colored
