Watch as Lloyd visit the remaining three Ninja, only to find them each experiencing their own version of a midlife crisis. They have long since abandoned their true callings, and settled for far less destinies...
Jay (formerly knows as Blue Ninja) is found hosting a zealous TV game show, aptly titled "THE... MOST... ULTIMATE... EXTREME... NINJA... CHALLENGE... EVER!!!" While it starts out with plenty of glitz and glamour, the cracks quickly begin to show as Lloyd follows Jay backstage to see him sitting sadly at his dressing room mirror, muttering to himself "Ninja never quit, huh Zane?"
We cut to Cole (formerly Black Ninja), who has apparently resorted to chopping down trees for lumber? Think of that, the Master of Rock, stuck in a tree!? He half-heartedly claims, "I was good with a scythe, turns out I’m even better with an ax!" Lloyd sees right through it, persisting "If you change your mind, friend, you know where I’ll be..."
Kai (formerly the Red Ninja), is now a strange kabuki-looking character called "The Flaming/Red Shogun", stuck in some sort of Fight Club-eque setting. Drinks clank in the dimly lit and seedy tavern where an unruly collection of misfits and recognizable past bad guys are entertained by an underground fight in a SLITHER PIT. Kai crushes the competition, but something much bigger is afoot.
The scene ends with Kai in street clothes, walking under scaffolding and past street construction. He pauses at the shrine of Zane (The Titanium Ninja), which has become more timeworn - stained by pigeons and graffiti - alluding that he's there to take back control of his current flux.
We are left with a sense that only Lloyd could join together what has now become 3 distinctly different, stubborn even, Ninja. Can Lloyd successfully bring them all back together, in perfect harmony?
