@@lunalaeclipse7155 Yeah... The problem is there is dirt and corrosion on the contacts. Sometimes of the cartridge, sometimes of the console. Blowing on it does nothing, but every time you insert and remove it the friction rubs away some of the stuff on the contacts, and if enough of it is removed it will work again. The 'proper' way to clean them is with a cotton bud and isopropyl alcohol, but... Almost nobody does that. XD

I was lucky enough to track down a Lego NES at an official Lego Store in a mall outside of my hometown as every other store was sold out of it for the holidays, especially as it was revealed that Lego was set to retire the Lego NES soon. My brother did me a huge favor driving out there right after work to pick it up for me after I transferred him the cash to purchase it & now I'm going to gift myself this amazing Lego set on Christmas Eve. You can, but the "level" is only 45 tiles long before it loops because the entire thing fits inside the TV cabinet. (However, if you take the back off you can extend the contraption -- and thus the "level" -- pretty much indefinitely, depending on parts and patience)

That is so cool. Reminds me from the day when my dad bought NES for me. =) And I got my first TV at the same time and that was 14" Sanyo Black and white CRT TV. It had those Simpsons style antennas, it was my grandpa´s old TV. NES was basically my childhood, like Mario, Mega man, Turtles, Rollergames, Double Dragon, Metal gear, Simpsons, Journey to Silius, Fester´s Quest, Zelda, Star Tropics etc. Those were the days. =) Also you should do Link´s Awakening style remake for Star Tropics Nintendo.

Looks like it uses a spring thingie for you to push the cartridge down, so presumably you push it down again for it to pop back up... like the original NES.
