I had this as a child. My father loves LEGO and always gifts it to kids, probably a bit too soon. I must have been 4, when I got this set, in 94. I loved it so, so much. A bit later they a e out with Belville, wich was my Lego love as a child. I am actually considering buying some Belville for my daughters but its quite expensive on eBay.

Aw I love that! Yes, I missed out on Paradisa as I was born the year it started. I’ve gotten some of the sets as an a adult though and love them! Belville though was a huge part of my childhood and I still absolutely love it! It is unfortunate that it is so expensive and hard to get! Maybe try BrickLink?

I'm actually surprised. The KZbin Algorithm Gods have brought me to a quality Lego channel. Been watching Jangbricks, the OG for years but so happy KZbin decided to recommend yours and another small channel, Emmasaurus all this week. Gets my sub was the point I was getting at tho xD

I wanted this set so much when I was 6 but wasn’t allowed it because it was aimed for girls (lol, ohhh the 90’s....) 26 years later my sister surprised me with it for my birthday 😹💖 Long live Paradisa, you made me fall In love with pastels!

Lovely review. I got this set mid last year. I love Paradisa, its the perfect recreational theme to go with my town, city and creator sets. This is my 2nd favourite Paradisa set after Sand Dollar Cafe.

This set is so well thought out. It would have been so fun to play with for kids back in the day. I remember wishing there were more girl minifigures.

Yes! I would have loved these as a kid! I always wanted more girl minifigures too. I was so excited to get King Leo’s Castle because it came with a princess and a female knight! 😁

Great review! Paradisa is a nice theme, and is probably the only theme that was directed towards girls that I would collect. These sets look like they could be in Caribbean, in a place like the Bahamas or Barbados. Whenever I see them, they always make me want to take a trip to those kinds of places. :D

Even as a kid I thought the Paradisa sets looked cool. I never had any of them but they seemed to have a lot of special parts, colors and play scenes that weren't really seen in Lego's other themes at the time.

Yes! They came out shortly before I got into LEGO so I didn’t get them until I was an adult. But they are very unique which is so cool!

I believe they came in a 80s stables at least the bigger ones did in a blue color.I know I’ve said it before, but I wish LEGO would bring back the classics like this set and the older town stuff. It will never happen, but I can always wish

Very interesting! I’d love some classic town sets as well. I think with as big as the AFOL community is that any vintage throwback sets would go over well. Missing a huge market!

Um, it wasn’t too difficult I guess. It’s a lot of learning curves as you go. And it’s time consuming. But also fun!
