This is a great set! It was originally called Dungeon Master's Castle. I bought it at Christmas when I was 12 with my birthday and Christmas gift money. I always had the knight with the white plumes as the leader. It's a 10/10 set in my opinion.

But Black Knights Castle name still better and fits this castle better. Also leader of this castle is black knight with yellow plumes actually.

I also think this is the best example of Castle LEGO ever released, many minifigures, many features with different coolest parts put together. It's level of defensive position is high. Good review, subscribed.

Having purchased a massive box of lego from the local car boot sale last year, I found loads of parts for this set so decided to build it. Was missing some parts and the figures. But now have it 100% complete

God bless the days where castle sets had a lot of mini figures. Now, we get only 6.

@@b_abbys true. The new castle creator sets are nice but damn. Mini figures are getting less. I won't be surprised if they later on sold mini figures separately

@@bricksofimagination6852 this one did! I was afraid it wouldn’t be complete, but it was. It took me years to finally find a reasonably priced one. You know these are all going for a premium, like you say in your vids. Looking forward to your dragon masters MOC.

Thanks for the review. my friend had this castle and I had the royal knights castle but I always wanted this one but they were so expensive lol. I just recently drug my castle out of my parents basement and I’m rebuilding for the 3 time in my life lol

I'm really torn whether to buy this set on ebay: the price is good, but it's missing precisely those extra rare and beautiful white side plumes! :(

Great castle. I had the older Black Monarch's castle instead. I would rate this castle 9/10. I don't like the inclusion of the ghost with everything, just like skeletons are added to everything now. How did we go from 12 figures to 3 for the recent castle...

The alternate builds for this castle are pretty cool too. The issue with the towers I think we all noticed but it honestly wasn't too bad. If you put a full block/plate filler then the minifig stands too tall above the parapets. I think the biggest problem with these base templates was that the are zero studs on the ramp. It looks cool but you could never put anything on it.
