I just wanna say that out of all the years I've watched your content Nick, LEGO Rewind has been my favorite series. Not only did I get to see what old LEGO themes I missed out on, I also got to see what LEGO themes I missed out on when they were around, like Hero Factory and Chima. Your passion throughout this whole series, even for some of the episodes with themes you didn't care for, is something I wish more people had. Great work as always.

I'm not ready to rewatch the finale yet cause I know I'll get way too emotional. It'll have to wait till tomorrow. Still, I just wanna say this series was such a big factor in me getting back into Lego. You introduced me to themes like UFO and Chima that I wound up buying sets from and loving. Thanks for the nostalgia. Watching this show has brought back so many fond memories and even lead to a lot of silly conversations with my aging mother, who was a logo fiend herself back in her day. Lol. I'll miss the series when it ends, all the more so if it ever becomes a pain to rewatch episodes (I do enjoy going back to the ones on themes i particularly loved as a kid). But before the comments disappear. Many thanks. Lego has always seemed so earnest in their attempts to make the world a better place, to be ethical in terms of their messaging. And this series has done that as well. Been good, wholesome and brilliant. Such things make the world a better place and you should be proud.

Now when there is only one episode left I would like to tell you how much I admire the efort you have put into this amazing series. It is easy to see how the quality got better with every season, and even the very first episodes had so much soul in them, that it easily made up for the few minor imperfections in them. Lego was a huge part of my childhood and I always loved looking for older sets to see how it changed over time, so now, when I found your show it was amazing, I dont think I ever was so attracted to any project on KZbin ever, it just always felt so personal, I think you made the right choice to have your KZbin videos as a hobby not a job, it just gives it a passion project feel which is clearly seen and it makes it even better. In one of your episode you said that you know that many people who came here for Lego will probably leave when the series end, but I don't think that's the case. Now there is only one episode left I absolutley dont want to leave, I saw what you can do and I am shure that whatever you do next will be just as great if not better. Thank you for this great experience. My best wishes to you and I hope we will see something new from you soon. P.s. I am was so happy that Power Miners made the list and now, when I now that it was intended as one of the only four episodes I somehow feel even better.

Lego rewinds always been a bumpy road for me. Not that I never enjoyed your videos, but seeing your mixed emotions about making them. Glad to see that in the end you still love the lightning in a bottle you caught, the timing was perfect. The lego youtube community was at its best right before youtube got in trouble with the FTC, now we're all waiting for the inevitable. Thanks for the years of being real with your retrospectives of the many themes that came and went, your takes always felt the perfect balance of nostalgia filtered without running away from why certain things were left behind.

it's been a fantastic ride throughout this series. I always felt I was going back in time to a period where I always wanted to be. I'm gonna miss this series. I have loved every minute of it and I'm kinda sad to see it go but I know damn well 2 things. 1, this series is gonna go out with a bang and 2, I'm very happy to say that I was part of this series and was there to see it. Thank You Nick for exposing me to many themes I never knew existed and just for some general fun times that made me forget my life and transport to a simpler time. I'll miss this series but I thank you for letting me be apart of it. KZbin is just killing itself and we are gonna go down with it. But we could always move to another site. I'm probably moving to Vimeo or something because my content counts as kids content. You could too. Sure, your channel and content might not be as advertisable for more people to see but at least you won't have to pay a fine for literally existing. I just want to apologize for KZbin and their actions and how it's affecting you and me and everyone else. I love your channel and I love your work. Even if you moved to another website, I think that a good portion of us will still be with you, Nick.

It's interesting to see the evolution of this series. Sure, there are some bumps here and there, but somehow every new video adds something. For example in the beginning you were contemplating the fact that there isn't much left to say about Bionicle after your other videos, yet now you seem to have decided to make a rewind on it. On a different note I really can't stress enough how much this has helped me through some moments. It has reminded me of the joy of discovering new things and has pulled me out of my "dark age". So thank you Nick, and thank you people in the comments for your efforts and the community you have built around this series. Even though I arrived a little late I enjoyed every second of it. And while the way KZbin has acted recently makes me sad, since something similar to this might become impossible to create, there is at least the hope that if more children see these videos it might lead to some of the themes covered here making a return.

First off, I deeply thank you for finally giving me the name “Living in the sunlight, loving in the moonlight”. I have been looking for YEARS for the name of that song ever since I first heard it in the Spongebob episode “Help Wanted”. But I’ve found Rewind to be just an absolute treasure trove of information that comes up more times than I care to admit in casual conversation. The entertainment value is truly spectacular, given my multiple repeat binges of the series, so I must thank you for that. The joys I get from seeing sets from my technically still going childhood is unrivaled, even in this episode, with the big grey castle from the eighties. Good times. And that’s something that many of us will lose, or never discover because of the new COPPA laws. So like a true ‘Merican, I’ll complain in conversation about that. But truly, thank you for creating this series

Thank you for this series! I’ve been watching it since the beginning of 2023 (it’s February now) after I went looking for videos on the history of Lego sets. My first introduction to Lego was receiving a large box of random Lego pieces from a mix of several different sets with no idea what sets they were from. Your videos not only helped me learn of old sets that I didn’t know about and inform me of the history of Lego, but also more personally finally figure out what all those random pieces are. I constantly caught myself saying “oh that’s where that’s from” or “oh I have that set” and I would have probably never have known if it wasn’t for you. The work you did for this series to truly appreciated!

Liked the end bit. I went through some “lack of motivation stuff” with some of my work on instagram (also Lego stuff) I mainly started losing motivation because I barley ever got comments. Or a community I could talk with. I’ve seen talked with some about my motivation issues and am glad I’ve seen that at least some people care. I’ll be sad when Lego rewind ends, and even safer when the comments are gone, but I’ll always have my memories, and this channel to stay with. Thank you.

And i'm still in them, I'm not autistic, but, think about things like this, how I still like to imagine these worlds over and over, makes me think I am in reality. I started watching Lego rewind some time towards the end of season 1. If I recall correctly, the Adventurers rewind was the first I saw. At that time, my bro and I had been digging into nostalgic Lego lore, so it must have come up during those searches. I was so stoked to find your channel, especially because all the content at that point was from themes I grew up with! It perfectly supplemented me and my bro's own research and provided the fondest trip down memory lane. When season two came around I was equally excited that I'd get to see even more of this rare niche content ( there are lots of Lego reviews out there, but only one Lego rewind). As the series progressed, I continued watching not just for nostalgia, but also because I enjoyed hearing a fellow afol's take on themes, the channel's own lore, discovery, and because the content is genuinely great! It is a huge disappointment that this site is mutating for the worse. Before these comments disappear, I wanted to say thank you for all the content you've produced and thank you for the memories in this brief golden window of time to be a Lego rewind fan. Looking forward to the final installment in the series!

i honestly love this series so much. i’ve loved learning about classic lego themes that my aunt or older sister were probably into! my personal favorite little bit of this episode was the part where you talked about some cmfs. the voice for the wrestler cracked me up and i’ve been trying to find where the sounds come from

I've loved everything about this series from the history behind themes, to nostalgia from old sets I used to own, to your choice of music (I mean come on Daft Punk, DMC, and Ratchet & Clank). You've shown me and many others themes I had no idea existed and why some themes that are overlooked can be amazing when examined more closely. While I understand that there isn't an infinite number of Lego to look back on and not all of it interests you I'm grateful for this series and I'm glad you made it Nick, thank you.

Haha, I was a very young kid back then and had many Jack Stone sets because they were just the new LEGO sets in my age category so my family bought them for me. I don't think I have ever played more with LEGO sets than these ones because when I got older, I just built the sets and maybe later rebuilt them into something else.

Hey Nick, I just wanted to say your series has meant a lot to me lately. I’m in my senior year of high school and it seems like I’m pressured into growing up. Having this series here has really connected me to the past. To when I would build the end of Bionicle and into Hero Factory, Ninjago and Chima alike. And above everything else, Star Wars. And among those videos I also go to see what my dad played with as a child so I could connect with him a lot more than I used to. I just wanted to thank you for this hobby of yours because it helped me keep the kid in me in a very weird time.

It’s been a great run. I’ve been here since MNOG watching off and on, but Lego rewind really kept me coming back. It’s been one of the few series on this site that I was genuinely excited to see the next episode of. It’s a real shame that this COPPA stuff has to end it all, but there’s not much we can do about that now. I look forward to whatever your next project here is.

You didn't miss the fact that Cole was the leader in the show. It wasn't stated there, but only in a book that was unsurprisingly written by Greg.

It's sad to see the show and everything built around it be buried like this, but I'm incredibly happy and thankful that I got to see it unfold. I've only been watching it for a few months, and it's been really interesting to both learn about old sets I owned, sets that I've always wanted, and whole themes I've only ever seen glimpses of. Thank you so much for the effort Nick! Here's to hoping the series will still thrive in some way in the future

I found Rewind by complete accident while installing Rock Raiders on Windows 10, searching for any fixes online and the Rock Raiders / Miners episode found its way into my recommended. Back then I was barely interested in LEGO, seeing it as something I was once interested in, is still cool, but expensive and I wouldn't bother; so much that I dismissed the video the first couple of times it appeared on the list. Boy how f-in glad I am I clicked on the video after all. You've single handly reignited my love for LEGO and vastly increased it, since as someone not from a big or wealthy country I had no idea so many of those themes were a thing. And now look at me chasing those old ass blocky sets like the Chrome Crusher that still proudly sits on my desk. I can't praise and thank you enough for the work you've been doing for the past years. Not to mention that LEGO Rewind exposed me to you as well! I'll make sure to follow you in whatever direction you take from now on. ♥

Amazing how this series has kept me engaged through almost two years since found it. I believe I was here early on and I'm grateful I've gotten to be here for the bulk of it--I've never had a youtube show make me look forward to the next episode so consistently. I'm shy as a commenter, but I'll surely be around for the finale. I imagine it will have some emotions in it for me. Thank you for keeping me in touch with my childhood through a lot Nick, I'll regret it when this window closes. Feels a bit like saying goodbye to a friend, which is weird to say about someone I've never met. I'll revisit often.

Man, this series has been such a ride. I can’t thank you enough for making it, Nick. Truly. It takes me back to when I used to play with so many of these sets. And capping it off with Bionicle is such a showstopper. Again, thanks for making this series. I just wanted to say it before this goes away.

I have to say, I think there's almost something poetic about all of this. A series almost completed yet still ready to be executed by forces out of its control. But the memories will always last, and I for one will stick with this channel from now on. Thanks for making me feel hope again.

Hi, Nick. Been watching for a while now, but I've never commented before (as far as I remember). Just wanted to thank you for covering Lego in such a well crafted way. While I've only become an adult pretty recently and cant share nostalgia on some of the older themes you've covered, I cant begin to count the number of times I've seen an image of a set I used to have in lego rewind and been reminded of a pleasant childhood memory that I had long forgotten. Growing up with Lego was a big factor in why I'm pursuing a future in engineering today, and, it has been a special getting to see someone talk about lego with the same excitement I used to and still have

I stumbled upon your channel because of Lego Rewind and man, this is easily the best KZbin series I've seen this year. It made me feel nostalgic for lego sets I haven't even grown up with, because of how well you captured and describted those themes. Thank you so much for all this work!

Just wanted to thank you so much for making this series. This year I made a huge change in my personal life and I've given myself much more free time, so I got back into my Bionicle collection. I found your videos while I was looking up old Bionicle commercials and I was instantly hooked. I too am a product from the early 90s and these episodes flung me head first into feelings and thoughts I haven't had in 15+ years. So many themes that I vividly remember looking at as a kid in the monthly LEGO catalog, (Life on Mars in particular hit home) and its been great reliving my childhood through your videos. Thank you for the amazing work that you have done with this series. Your narration and energy are a big part of why I love your videos so much. A calm and collected and very knowledgeable tone over all of them make each one a pleasure to watch. I am looking forward to your future projects, and I wish you all the best!
