The ginger bread house is definitely a top tier Christmas set (and Lego set in general for that matter). I can’t imagine an idea that could ever top it. Was executed extremely well all round

This set got me into the Winter Village sub-theme. I really enjoy the more reality-based Christmas themed sets, it just strikes a chord of massive nostalgia in me. The Main Street and the Alpine Lodge from the two following years are good solid additions; I hope they keep it up. I don't really care for the light brick, though. My experience is that it adds more to the price than it's worth.

2022’s set got me back into Lego (thank you Lego store at Disneyland Paris) and they all have their own unique pro’s. Most don’t like the 2022 set and on its own I can understand, but what’s a village without some stores? Long story short, I collected the 2019, 2020 and 2021 sets this year and recently added the 2023 set. Put that all together in a landscape and it’s just wonderful.

It's amazing how the long brown technic pieces used to make the roof angle and make it movable also represent beams

I have this set waiting in my closet, but I'm firmly waiting until AFTER Thanksgiving to build it. I just moved to my first full apartment last year, so my first decorations consisted of a tabletop tree, some Lego ornaments, and the Brickheadz Nutcracker, Reindeer, and Elves. I'm planning on adding more Lego every year, then enjoying the process of rebuilding the sets every year.

This is a great set. My only problem is the choice of colour because we've already had that colour in the Winter Village Family Home. One of the best things about it is the way the interior feels open. Many of the Winter Village sets (including the family home) have roofs that are quite fragile; this one's clever use of Technic is a new solution. And yes, that Christmas Tree light is great. My favourite WV sets are the first two fantasy sets, Santa's Workshop and the one you designed, Gingerbread House. I also love the Winter Village market.

What's the problem? They could be neighbours. I don't have the winter village cottage unfortunately but i have the home alone house and this set works as the neighbour as it looks similar to the neighbour house in the movie.

That's just asking for free advice when he could easily charge for it as a professional masterbuilder. As it stands right now, there's enough set releases each month that he can get at least one video per week, even more if he dips into previous offerings.

@@jardex2275 He doesn’t have to analyse the set. Just some points and moving on. I’m pretty sure that browsing through Reddit for 15 minutes takes less time than building those models. Even though you don’t directly pay, he still gets paid from add revenue while also growing his channel. If he would probably never turn that into a service since if the customer paid for the review and is probably expecting a full review and if he got just a few a week it would be double the amount he’s already working. If it’s just on Reddit he can just do the top 10 of the month and finish the video. If he gave yours less time you wouldn’t care since it’s free. It would be another series for people who look to improve and might not care as much for all the new releases. It would bring more people to the channel

Sorry but I am unsubscribing to all things Lego cause Lego will not let me order on there site due to duplicate charge from January order fully paid shipped in February but was charge again in September same order. Now they will not let me order titanic or anything cause of the order in January want to charge me again third time. I am not going to pay third time. Just cause the refunded second duplicate charge in September. For order all ready pay for in January. Lego not helpful at all to fixed my account cause of there error
