the boxes were probably printed correctly but the die cut cut them off center. They were probably buried in a stack of normal boxes and the workers at the factory didnt care to throw them out. Not sure if Lego QC would ever even see them at that stage.

The new LEGO Minecraft Armadillo set comes with a pale wolf instead of a spotted one. Either the Safari ranger just updated to Armored Paws or there's a taiga within a decent distance of a savannah. Or they just want to use the classic pale design to show off the wolf armor, still they could've included a wild spotted wolf too to show off _all_ the Armored Paws features. Something interesting about this set is that the Ranger has heterochromia (different colored eyes). Just thought I'd point that out since most people probably overlook this detail.

The best part about the instructions at 3:05 is that the box art in the background is for a completely different set! The instructions are for the Turbo Track Racer 31070 but the art.... well, I watched this video on my TV so I can get a closer look at the number on the box. It says 31069 but searching for that set brings up a totally different looking house! Bizarre 🤔

3:30 my copy of the set doesn't have these missprinted instructions, however I got this set very recently after it was officialy discontinued so I guess they fixed the physical instructions for the latest units or this was a regional thing.

1:18 the older cap had a flat front part, the one in the photo is round. So it isn't an old type of cap.

Unless there's some super old one I couldn't find, that is the one he meant. He misspoke a bit when he said "flat" though the one from the 80s they stopped using later on did have a slight curve, and no texture on the actual head fitting part.

Another example for future videos. In the Hero Factory set Nex 2.0. Compare his weapon between the box (or I guess canister) art and the instruction. It was the first error I ever noticed in a set.

I dont think that's an error though, the weapon is assembled correctly, only oriented differently. Given it's connected via a ball joint, it depends on our definition of an error. The box art only shows his weapon in an unconventional orientation, the whole assembly, however, is correct. I always thought it was intentional to give it some extra spice, maybe to suggest that the weapon can be used in two ways like that. Either way thanks for this trip down memory lane, Hero Factory were my childhood.

@ same here. I know the majority of people prefer Bionicle, but when I was growing up, I had Hero Factory. I loved watching the show and the cool sets were an added bonus.

I somehow had 4 different Lego instructions, and they're very weird. One had the wrong color, another had way too much color, another didn't have any pieces on one of the sides, and the last one had an entire page that was skipped.

I came across an error that was made in my Lego ninjago set “Imperium Dragon Hunter Hound”(71790) when the instruction manual said that the first bad included Jay as the first Minifig but it was actually Lloyd. Jay came in the 2nd bag. It was just a mix up and nothing actually wrong with the set itself.

the lego star wars 7255 grievous chase also has another error, the obi-wan kenobi minifigure on the box and instruction art has the older 1999 ben kenobi torso instead of his proper episode 3 torso from 2005, you can notice it as the correct torso that comes in the set has a brown belt print while the torso on the box-art does not

7:40 That's not "obviously" a rendering error. That's a missing alignment between subassemblies in the CAD File. If you're gonna use fancy words, do your research and use the right ones.
