I too am hopeful that Sonic will be the next Minecraft for Lego. We could see it blossom into its own theme and get some more sets based on classic Zones with this modular style.

This set shows MASSIVE potential for a Sonic the Hedgehog line of sets! It'd be absolutely Awesome if they made a set for every game! Example: Death Egg Robot or Tornado plane for "Sonic 2" Metal Sonic raceway for "Sonic CD" Master Emerald Shrine w/ Knuckles & Mecha Sonic for "Sonic 3 & Knuckles"

Reprinting Sonic for Metle Sonic would be cool. Figures of Tales and an updated Robotnic. This set shows the potential of Sonic legos and I'm glad it's not the stage desing gaming like mario legos. With Sonic going I want some good zelda with dungions' castles and monsters or F zero with vehicles and buildable race tracks.

The best moment about Sonic game is not the theme song, not the sound of the rings, not the ability to charge and dash...it's how fun it felt to bounce on the powerup PC's and getting that satisfying POOF!

The most criminal thing I'll ever do in life is own this 18+ set at 15 years old. I got it on the Lego shop at home thing though so it'll take awhile to get here. In the meantime I already made custom builds to go along with it, like Eggman's animal capsule, a ball/spin dash form for Sonic, and and blue arm/white glove combo for a movie Sonic design. So I'm excited. Hope we see more from this

The problem that I have with Lego is that, you buy the kit, then you build it, then you just look at it and it collects dust. Sometimes you take your build apart and then make something else, but with me, I just want to make my own things. But the thing is, making your own things is sometimes pretty challenging.

The problem with Eggman is the gap just above the nose. If the nose had a stud that gap would be filled and it would look fine but you'd lose the point of the nose.

I ordered mine straight after the fireworks on New Years am really looking forward to it. It seems like it may be stuck in the shipping queue for a bit but hopefully it comes soon. I'm looking forward to the build and all the stacked 1x1s as I think it will be a bit of a challenge that is well worth it for the excellent outcome, similar to the screen in the NES set.

I think the reason they have 2 emeralds in one bag is because in sonic 1 there were only 6 instead of 7. And since it’s a sonic 1 set it may just be a reference to that.

I will say the Eggman looks a better from above than he does head on. They seem to have redone the head to make the nose 3D, so it doesn't really work unless you can see the nose protruding

I’ve gotten used to eggman’s look but I feel like he sits a bit too high in the eggmobile for my liking, I hope you can opt to leave out that center peice and just slide him a bit lower with his legs off, I think it’d look just a bit better

This set is based on Sonic 1, which didn't have Tails in it, therefore it wouldn't really have made sense for them to put him in this set. I do agree that a Tails Minifigure would be really nice.

I personally can't wait for this set I love the build I'm a bit disappointed with dr.robotnik (Eggman) head but the body build looks great if they do an expansion they should add in tails and knuckles but they should leave out sonic like I think sonic should only be on this set

The set has a few things missing i feel should have been in it at least one patch of spikes and a egg box aka the death box I feel this also should of had a goal post at is double sided so you can flip it from robotnik/eggman to sonic it just feels kinda off with how it’s missing
