You think so? I find them pretty small compared to the 2018 ones but at the same time it's perhaps more realistic when put beside a Millennium Falcon or a bigger ship.

I prefer it. Downsized sets don't take too much space and *usually* cheaper than the older ones. The pros outweigh the cons in my eyes.

I have never in my life heard about Jedi Bob until the rumours of his re-release this year. I imagine he wasn't actually called Bob in the 2002 set, fans just stuck a name on a nameless Jedi and basically blew stuff out of proportion? It's a fascinating piece of Lego SW history nonetheless, but if they keep him yellow (which I heard they are doing) I see no point in getting him. The Sarlacc escape is apparently going to be one of the sets that comes with a 25th ann. figure, which sucks for me because I have the 2012 set, so normally I wouldn't bother getting the same scene again, but I really want all the 25th ann. figures. I agree about the downsizing. It sucks! I'm getting the SD later this year only because it contains a 25th ann. figure, but other than that Lego is gonna lose me as a customer for practically all large starships. Little starfighters seem to be staying to scale compared to the old ones, but other than that everything is shrinking. I'll be going to Bricklink if I want a TIE fighter, for example. I hope the C3PO set matches the scale of the 100 euro R2D2 they released this year. For 150 they should be able to make him that big. If not, it would suck! Imagine this iconic duo are on shelves together, yet if you bought them both they wouldn't be to scale!

Yeah, Jedi Bob was a whole LEGO meme! Since you already have the Sarlacc, you could perhaps get the 25th Anniversary minifigure on BrickLink. As for the ship's size, it's unfortunate, and I really hope they start making them bigger again. I heard that they might release a UCS Jabba's Sail Barge so if they do, I hope that one will be big enough!

@@collectorskingdomcorp The completionist within me will push me to get the Sarlacc pit rather than buying just the figure lol, just so that I have the set that accompanied the figure. Plus, I love the Sarlacc, so why not. But I guess we'll see. It's hard to judge right now since there's little info. The UCS sets will remain big for sure. I don't think they'll be downscaled. As for the playsets, the only way they will go back up in size is if people stop buying them, which I think might happen. I must have missed that meme. I barely look at social media so that's probably why.

Yeah, the Jedi Bob was very desired by the LEGO Star Wars community. I even remember that for whatever reason some people wanted it even more than the phase 2 Commander Cody back in 2022.

I really hope that they release one but I realized that the Imperial Star Destroyer LEGO recently announced has the same set number and piece count as what we thought would be the diorama in the leaked information so I'm no longer sure if they'll release one. I think they will just because they always have in the past but we'll see!

Jedi bob only appeared in one set ever, which is a Republic Gunship set. That design shown was fanmade, we dont know what it will look like. People like him because not only is he a very rare minifigure but also the name makes him stick out more.
