It’s great to have a Lego Star Wars enthusiast who is actually very familiar with the source material. Not just with this, but overall you have a grasp on all the context of everything you review. It kills me when the big few review characters figures and sets based on obscure parts of the universe and sleep on them because of it.

That means a lot to hear, thank you! I try my best to relate it properly to the shows and movies since when I look at sets I think of the movies and the amazing moments from my childhood!

@@ob-1studios Absolutely. For some, like MNR, it seems as though he's a fan of Star Wars because he's a Lego Star Wars fan first. Just really interesting, to each their own tho. I also appreciate how you do review retired sets, because they're still attainable, and almost like a piece of history in a way. They're some of the most fun things to collect, especially since not all of them are outrageously priced. Keep it up!

I am actually not completely against micro fighters. Not everyone can afford a bunch of playsets, and this is a cheaper alternative for most people to get a cool new minifigure. A new PLO Koon Starfighter would be great as well, but either way, I think it is just great that we are getting a better version of the figure, as the old rubber has not aged well.

I guess my main issue with Micro Fighters is just when they make them over a playscale set we'd all want. If they did both the Micro Fighter and playscale that'd be totally cool

The whole reason people were so happy was that these were out at the same time to recreate one of the most iconic order 66 scenes

In terms of named clones not being army buildable, Jag’s model is reused quite often throughout ROTS actually. He’s the pilot behind Oddball in the opening scene, and the pilot behind Jag during Order 66 is also a reuse of his modle

As for the ARC-170, besides the gun proportions I think the ship looks pretty awesome. The pilots look amazing and I think the design is so sleek. I however am super against micro fighters. I like to display sets and any small builds like them are a waste of space, it’ll be a minifigure purchase with extra pieces that’ll just get thrown in a bag somewhere.

I agree with you my friend!
@omarbaba9892Ай бұрын
Nah it’s way too small for that price, it’s supposed to be nearly twice as wide as an x wing

Cool set with awesome clones just wish the Plo Koon starfighter would be full size
@ob-1studiosАй бұрын
Yeah that’s super disappointing imo

Good analysis, the set definitely has some flaws but it’s still cool they’re revisiting it finally

The fanbase seems to forget that LEGO is a kids toy. But i understand you points.

It'll go on sale at some point in the new year for a decent price!
@omarbaba9892Ай бұрын
What’s the price equivalent to US dollars? In the uk where I’m from it’s nearly 80 dollars

The constant, and I mean CONSTANT obsession with movie anniversaries in this community is so hilarious to me. Like you all sound like high maintenance girlfriends throwing a tantrum over their boyfriend forgetting their 17 month anniversary. Chill tf out, we aren't even in 2025 yet and I'm already over it
@ob-1studiosАй бұрын
I don't think the community would care that much if lego actually made good sets based on the movies we want like Revenge of the Sith more regularly. We've had 6 sets release since 2020 for episode 3 and most of them were terrible. The hope was that to make up for the lack of good sets they'd celebrate the anniversary the biggest movie of the franchise like they did for the 20th anniversary of the Clone Wars or the 40th anniversaries of Empire and Return of the Jedi. It was a long shot since there was no 20th anniversary sets for TPM or AOTC, but there was just hope we'd get some cool sets because of it since there have been basically none in 5 years and maybe lego was saving them for 2025. It's not that complicated dude.
