It's new release day at The LEGO Store and also the start of the new Star Wars Day promotion. Loads of new Lego Star Wars sets are releases today, including the new TIE Interceptor and Droideka, plus some new sets in the LEGO Space line, including CMF Series 26 which is Space themed, and the new Inside Out 2 set. And even though we're not really into Star Wars, we had to make sure we spent enough to qualify for those Star Wars Day gifts with purchase! What did you pick up on May 1st?

Great video. I used to love getting the exclusive GWP on release day, but I now find that the spend threshold is getting higher on certain items. Saying that, I’ll be getting the Tie interceptor to add to my collection. Keep up the great content.

My main love in lego is modulars but I must say out of all the lego star wars sets I have bought. The most enjoyable build was Mos Eisley Cantina. If you ever drop fully down the lego star wars hole that is one to get before it's gone forever.

Awesome vid Kev & Anna! Been watching you 2 for a few years now and was thrilled to see you start a Lego based channel as someone who’s loved Lego since being a kid. I spotted a few of the new Star Wars sets early last week at a local shop so picked up the droideka, and a pre order I placed at smyths for a ship arrived a couple days early. If ever you two are hoping to get early access to reviews on new sets I would definitely recommend smyths!

All the new releases today were in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of what is chronologically the first movie in the timeline. If you’re interested in possibly getting into the star wars stuff, most cinemas are showing a remastered of it this week, if that’s your kind of thing!

Man that’s a quiet Lego store there was 70-100 people for mine and I was first after waiting 3 hours to get in. They sold out of some sets within the first 30 minutes of opening.

Happy May 1st everyone! I ordered my sets online! Got all the promos and insider promos! Those being the art print and coin. I had issue last night. The site was crashing and I couldn’t make my purchase. Luckily Lego customer service was able to help me out.

@@blockpartyukThere were 2 other promos online. You have to redeem your Insider Points and buy something to get them. There was a really cool 25th anniversary art print and a 25th anniversary coin. I just heard the art print is sold out. I’m glad I secured my copy! 😁

There was an exclusive 25th anniversary art print and coin. I just heard the art print has officially sold out. I checked eBay and someone is selling it for $100 😳

I’d recommend the ghost and phantom 2, of the sets on shelves at the minute I’d say it’s the best as the last Ghost now sells far above retail, you get 2 ships in 1 and the minifigure selection is fantastic

The big builds at LEGO land are they made via one of sets or with bricks i dont know Lego but couldn't you just build the city without sets

You could, but buying the sets is usually the cheapest way of getting the bricks, and some of the bricks are only in sets or are hard to find or very expensive. For example, the recent D&D set costs £330. I’ve just had a look at buying the parts individually, and the best I could find is 70% of the parts for around £360. So it costs more and still doesn’t have all the parts you’d need.
