The brand new R2D2 buildable figure (75379) just released on March 1st 2024. The set is amazing, but comes at an 100$ price tag. However, the set comes with a exclusive minifigure already fetching 50-60$ on the aftermarket. Let’s build the set and decide if it’s worth 100$ together!

I think it’s a great set especially in your case! UCS sets can be so pricy so these smaller scale ones that still make great models are so nice 😊

I bought it cause I didn’t have the ucs one since the price was so high but wanted a build able r2d2 and it comes with a dope minifig it was a win win

Why did they change his cape from red to black? (Pre release has brown/red cape)

For $100 it should've had a sound brick..... The sorting hat is on the same quality and had a sound brick

Thank you so much for the support, I really do appreciate it! Especially if you don’t have the more expensive one, I’d get this R2D2 over any other version. I’m biased though considering it’s the only one I have!
