LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens - Custom Droids (BB-8 & R2-D2)

This video shows off some custom droid characters in LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens. This is a prequel to LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.

Custom droids are great and all, but I miss being able to put an Astromech Droid head onto a custom minifigure's body in The Complete Saga.

Technically BB-8 is an astromech because R2-D2 is an R2 unit BB unit is just newer for all those people who say astromech and BB unit

BB-8 is only ONE of his kind. He is a BB unit, meaning there is more than just one of his unit-type.

Doesn't anyone notice the Astromechs' heads come out the wrong colors? This is driving me nuts. I hope they patch it soon. (You can see this clearly in the video when an R2-type head comes out gold, not matching the body color). Really fun game, but so many bugs and freezes! Getting Dooku... oh boy... I had to work around certain conditions that were preventing the carbonite brick from appearing on the map and one that was causing the game to freeze every time i launched the Rancor mission..... I guess "debugging" the game yourself is part of the challenge. :| Also in my game (Wii U, v 1.01), custom characters' faces do not appear in the HUD. It is annoying.... Hope it is patched. In the video they appear. I just get generic shadows. And lastly, i can only use letters to name customs. Naming droids without numbers or dashes feels so WRONG! It's like they didn't even test parts of this game. (Holding my breath for a patch soon).

It's automatically set to be daytime. Hopefully they'll add a day and night cycle in game!!
