I found in my local game they had a lot of the new Lego sets with discounts (clearly game is dying and are desperate for sales) anyway I got the buildable Rocket £10 off at £45 and I got the sandman set for £25 so about £6 off.

Yeah I do get the impression they are struggling, hence I try and spend any gift vouchers/reward points as soon as I can. Good price on the Sandman set, my Game didn’t reduce that set, possibly it’s store specific

Brilliant haul. I received my delivery of lego yesterday and one of the sets I bought was also the family reunion set. I agree I just think that it looks outstanding. Happy new year to you and the family.

Unfortunately wasn't able to purchase anything as of yet. Funds are tied up in existing sets that I will be shifting on in a few weeks. Plus busy parting out sets at moment on bricklink. But I believe end of month could be double points plus GWP. So hoping to do large investment then

Yes it is, it’s a permanent attraction in the center of town, though I have never been in, the whole upside down thing is so weird lol😂I believe the Retro Van promo should be available in Australia from 8 Jan-18 Jan so hopefully you can get it🙂

My Game store is closing down and moving in with Sports Direct to save on the rent. It was good to see the new sets reduced on day 1.

Our haul for the new year only consisted of a what I could buy with a $50 Lego gift card I got for christmas haha. I had to get the Japan postcard set for sure. I got both the Lost tomb Indiana Jones set, and the new cherry blossom set for my gf, on sale due to box damage. With $10 in insider points I managed to get everything for right under $60, and just paid the few extra dollars for taxes. Overall a pretty good lego day. I love the chinese bulidng sets because they could pair so well with ninjago theme. If I collected Ninjago I would totally capitalize on creating an actual Ninjago city as lego continues to produce more ninjango and chinese sets

Ahh the postcards are really nice and that Indy set for me is probably the the best out of the three releases in 2023 when you factor the cost of it. I’m also keeping an eye on Monkie Kid theme as that has some really interesting Far East sets🙂

I dont believe it can connect as there are no flush walls or pins etc but it would still look good in a modular street. Will be interesting to see what moc’s come out for it🙂
