Remember doing a compressor when I was kid, with the simple older lego sprockets and axles, before Technic even existed. A square piston in a square cylinder and two bicycle tire valves drilled into lego blocks. Blew balloons with it. Slow and terribly noisy, and the balloons didn't fill so well.. But fun to do. And when the first Technic legos arrived, it was like going to space, finding another universe.

35psi is not high presure i got that tank to hold up to 110 psi with a lego pump and with a lego compressor up to 60 psi and 110 psi still isnt a lot for that tank size

looks to be the piston with the switch on it is the reason it fills it slowly and it moves the switch to shut off
