This Remote-Controlled Excavator is beyond amazing! Enjoy my review of something that can make huge holes at the beach. Best of all, you can even program the LEGO Technic Liebherr R 9800 Excavator. That's right, the designers at LEGO came up with this phenomenal model that you can build yourself. With this remote controlled excavator, you can even engage in hunting gold. Although this is a small scale excavator, you'd definitely need teamwork if you want to finish building this excavator in a reasonable amount of time. This excavator will make any friends having fun. Experience the gold rush with the LEGO Technic Liebherr R 9800 Excavator 42100 building kit. When playing with this excavator, your friends will instantly be joking with each other. While it's not radio controlled, it does support bluetooth. Arguably, bluetooth is better due to programming capabilities. Prepare to be amazed by this LEGO Technic Liebbherr 9800 42100 and this is actually a very trending excavator.

Video transcribed for your convenience:
Hello and welcome to my “how deep can we dig” test and review of the LEGO Technic Liebherr R 9800 excavator 42100. I am unbrickme and the excavator is out on a beautiful Californian beach. Let’s push this excavator to it’s absolute limit. First, we will test it’s capabilities on normal sand, not super dry, but not hard wet sand either. As you’ll soon see, this type of sand is optimal for this excavator. Fortunately, there wasn’t of sand that got in the actual gears, and as a result, nothing got jammed and it could dig just fine.
I will also be providing the amount of time it took to dig out a hole, so that way you can see it’s true capabilities. In order to dig out a relatively large hole, we need to initiate multiple scoops over a large period of time. The first scoop is usually the most challenging, but after that the second, this, and forth scoops are usually easier. As you can see, this hole is already getting pretty large, and the excavator handles my digging task with no problem whatsoever. The excavator managed to dig out a very large hole here. It measured whopping 2.5 inches or 6.35 centimeters. This is in contrast to the other side of the coin, hard wet sand. With that, after multiple attempts of digging, the excavator could hardly so anything. But, the excavator can drive backwards with this, essentially tilling the land. This is a pretty cool feature, and because it’s capable of digging sand, children of all ages are going to love this excavator.

Gosh I love the quality of this video! The beach shots are amazing! Sorry for not talking about the actual set because I don’t have much interest, but it’s huge and looks very difficult to build, Technic just isn’t my thing! But I live the quality of this video though! 🤣

I was sold on NOT getting this set... but I’m just getting back into lego and was not aware of “Alt builds” until a few days back. Once I discovered all the additional builds you can do with this set I ordered one immediately!

@@Unbrickme they are cool to build but not exactly completely realistic in the sports cars and the gearing is so setup that it's not really evident that they are doing much. A small change in how fast fake pistons move.. the only good one is the cat a60h.. but mainly cause it's also motorized.

I think Powered Up (Control+, Spike, Boost, etc) will slowly become more and more apreciated among older lego fans as more community made control apps / firmwares are released. For example, with Pybricks you can program every powered up hub in micropython like the Spike hub does out-of-the-box. In a set like this you could program the two hubs to talk each other, add a buch of sensors to the empty ports and completely automate it. The Powered Up (Boost) color/distance sensor can also be used to send IR commands to Power Functions receivers (sadly, I don't think it has an IR receiver, only an IR led. So it doesn't work the other way around).

The 8043 motorizated excavetor in my opinion is the worst lego set ever is too hard to digging despit i did t have for me lego need to create more easyest instructions becose the best way to have more fun istade for the challenging sets like the 8043 you want get stuck at a long part of the set you become incredebley angry

I really wish that this set had double tracks, so then it doesn't look too thin on both ends, and I think Lego should have just brought Bluetooth to powered up and not have brought control plus, as revolutionary as it is.

It has have FIVE gearboxes actually, 2 for twaurk, 1 for the turning thing and 2 for the actuators! So yes it does have gearboxes just not a drive transmission gearbox. I just got the set and it’s also pretty challenging to build.

Ik you say that it's pretty basic to have one motor controlling a function but I think it's because when you move the arm, the set keeps the bucket leveled until a certain point. The actuators have to make a small adjustment when you lower or raise and to do something like that with gears would probably be impossible. I still respect your opinion on the set though
@outofthi5world567
@outofthi5world567 Жыл бұрын
They don't, because of where the actuators are mounted when the arm moves it naturally stays parallel.
