Also in meinen Augen eine echt smarte Lösung. Manchmal ist riesig und viel nicht toll

That is one nifty design. Very nice. Just checking to see if I'm missing something; 78208 is the the Oshkosh M911 Heavy Duty Tractor (Oversized version) 75396 is the Pneumatic Jack-up System 73232 is the V16 Diesel Engine 72450 is the Traverse for Emergency V16 Diesel Generator (for use with a crane) 71783 is the Emergency V16 Diesel Generator Can't seem to see a design for the trailer to load it on? Can't see anything that might be included in something else that has tyres as part of the parts list other than 2 in the Emergency V16 Diesel Generator. Is that something we'd have to design and build ourselves? A model with the extra bits for chaining it down etc would be nice. EDIT: Ahh, it's in a different video. Need to email you at the address in that one to get the designs... huh.

I didn't make any instructions for the trailer, because the control with mindstorms and the optical system would have been too susceptible to interference. the extraneous light can cause the angle of the drawbar to be detected incorrectly. that's why i didn't make a model of it to publish, sorry. my email address is stefanweinert@outlook.com

Stephan, I love your models…so detailed and functional! I am thinking of building your OshKosh 911 truck with low boy trailer. Do the words “transformer” “bridge” relate to what this trailer can carry? I am wondering what specific function this trailer offers. Thank you for any explanation you can offer. Gerry Kirk
@legolaus1
@legolaus1 9 ай бұрын
Hello Gery, the low loader trailer (Transformer bridge) does not appear in this video, this is just a low loader trailer. But the name "transformer bridge" or "boilder bridge" is really related to the load. On these vehicles, the load is transported between the bogies. This allows the load to be positioned very low 🙂

Vielen Dank!

wow. i like the way you lifted the engine that was clever, but surely a massive crane would have done the job and would have be quicker. that would have bean something to watch. and the trailer at the back that was cool to i like the suspension on it. and what where the turn tables and the EV3 for? but and overall great video.

thank you for the praise! Of course I could have done it with a crane, but I had several reasons for doing it with the pneumatic stamps. On the one hand, there are a lot of videos where a crane is used, I wanted to show something different. on the other hand, i don't have a crane that could lift the five kilos of the engine. and this technology actually has its advantages in reality. you can lift more with it than with a crane and you don't need the additional space for the crane. there are very interesting videos from mammoet that work with it a lot. But I also thought of a crane first. the 12 turntables rotate the axles of the trailer. they are driven by worms, everything is calculated for the correct steering angle possible. I made a video (see link) with the trailer alone, there you can see its function a little better. but thanks again for the nice feedback :-) Trailer: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aZDUpaONgdqZq9E Mammoet-Jacks (see 1:42min): kzbin.info/www/bejne/rYO4daCJoLp7gKs

@@legolaus1 THANK YOU for getting back to me. yes i sea now why you didn't use a crane. and i guess the stamps work better, and whit less pieces than a crane. but if you wanted to make a crane, to lift 5k would you have enough pieces to make it? and thank you for the links.

@legolaus1

@@Fish-Finger yes, a mobile crane that could lift something like that would be huge. the largest can lift up to 2000t, the bridge weighed more than 5000t. even if you had used one or more cranes, you would have had to get them there and set up first. to unload the bridge, the crane would have had to be rebuilt at the destination. the hydraulic jacks simply move with the vehicles. it is actually easier
