TT really should've made more of these. Why not take a break from licensed games and make their own lego superhero game and have a supporting protagonist with elastic powers? I understand why they dialed back with the TFs in this game, what with there being 4 playable versions of Elastigirl, but in that previously mentioned self-made game, they can just have one elastic character which allows them to freely go all out with the transformations.

Well they are. Just compare the graphics of multiplatform games and you'll see that the PS4 and Xbox One's graphics are better than the Switch. That problem has been around since the Wii which had graphics comparable to the PS2 instead of the PS3. And the Switch is a generation ahead of the PS4 and Xbox One, with the PS5 and Xbox Series X coming later this year.

I’ve got a good question if you were playing in free play mode on the story missions and have elastigirl in a different suit would she be in the color she already is when she transforms on these pads or would she end turning into her red suit still.

She'd be the color she already is in gameplay. If a story cutscene is triggered, she'd be in her red suit for the cutscene because of the pre-rendered clip.
