Well thanks for an awesome set idea, i bought 2 sets made one into the executor and one into this venator. I was a few pieces short though when building it so I assume Lego had missed some parts when I was sold the set. All in all brilliant MOC and I’m so happy it’s on display now.

Yo Brick. This is still hands down THE best Alt build I have seen of the venator. I challenge you to do an alt build using the invisible hand set 75377 into a separatist Navy Resucant Light Destroyer I'm trying but it might need 2 sets. I'd love to see your take on it.

Just finished building this today. It looks awesome, though my main problem is with the engines. They're just so small, and oddly places, but it can't really be helped due to the lack of enough pieces to fully flush it out. Overall I'd rate it 10/10.

Looks fantastic! I can hear some ROTS/clone wars fans screaming “the colour schemes not right” but I think it looks great. Technically according to lore (I’m not sure if it’s canon still or when it was canon) but allegedly the Venator class ship were still in service under the Empire. They were even present at the battle of Endor! Used to protect supply lines to the system! 😂

Do you reckon there's a way to build side-hangers? I'm going for a republic venator look and replacing some of the pieces with maroon pieces and adding the republic decals on the side.

Side-hangers are closed on the model and utensil ingot / bar lego piece was used on each side to represent them. I'm not sure what you would like to do there exactly, but maybe it would be possible to leave the hangar open like on the UCS. However, it's a midi scale so I'm not sure what impact it would have on the entire structure.
