The picture on the clapper is a reference to a Walt Disney short that first used the multi-plane camera. It was a machine that Walt came up with where the animators would but different layers of backgrounds, foregrounds and such and a camera on top of the machine, facing down and they’d zoom in or out the camera to make it appear as if we, the audience, was zooming in or out of something or environment. That , I believe, is what is behind Walt on the clapper.

I think the cottage is a reference to the behind the scenes where walt showed how they made multi plane images with different parts of an image moving at different speeds. Edit: yes if you look close the foreground is a different sticker so maybe you can reenact that by turning the camera. Yes after looking again that's exactly what it does.

As mentioned, the side build is the multi-plane camera which could explain why Bambi and Dumbo are included as both films used it heavily. The camera on top is bouncing off an angled piece to look down at several planes that would move with animation cells that gave the illusion of complex depth and parallax

6:07 that’s the Multiplane Camera, they used it to make camera movement look more realistic by splitting up parts of the scene so they could move closer or farther away from the camera at different rates. Not sure what movie the picture is from but it was used in a demonstration of the camera in the One Man’s Dream exhibit at Hollywood Studios

I love that they added Bambi and Dumbo, HOWEVER I'm annoyed cuz I went online and bought a Lego City Baby Elephant and a Lego Friends Fawn as a fill-in for Dumbo and Bambi to go in the new Disney Castle I ordered. And now this set is giving us Dumbo and Bambi.

It’s crazy how over priced the Peter Pan set is, but this set is just freaking amazing and it’s only $100. I am picking this up, i mean I I haven’t been interested in any of the Disney sets for the last few years at all, but this one I am going to get. It’s an amazing film camera build on its own. I’ll probably just display it like that without the #1 attached, but I also really like Walt Disney. I’m not really a big fan of current Disney but I loved Walt Disney as a visionary and I think it’s really cool to get that Walt display, amazing set.

Nice video - the item on the slate with Walt and company is a recreation of the 'Multi-plane Camera', an invention of Walt's that added depth and perspective to animated films, including Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Just thought you'd like to know. ;)

I'll also share for those who can not afford the real set, aliexpress is selling the new castle for £80, my friend bought it amd the quality of the figures and set were actually really good, i bought the ariel royal clamshell for £50 and its identical to the offical lego set... I got the last disney castle and the last promo set on release day at my store we called ahead and they didnt have many left after a 3 hour line i got there a hour after my call and one was left behind the counter but this i need 3 so i can have a walt on the steps of both castles and one to display with the set but finding out bambi and dumbo are in it ..... 😢
