Great catches. The D60hf was an amazing bus weird to not see them running anymore. But I notice you didn't have luck catching it on the BX35 either I heard they made rare appearances only saw it once in the early 2000s

I don’t think there’s any documented case of them running on the Bx35... this is definitely the first I’m hearing of it.

And of course, the one with #5659 was taken on March 31st, 2019. I miss these buses, and all high floor buses (except MCIs and Prevosts, and the Bee-Line Orion V Suburbans). I loved the 1999s more because they were more bassy. I loved the 2002-03s because of the sound they made on takeoff (the Orion VII Hybrids make that same sound sometimes).

These are the NFI D60HF Series buses, they ran since 1999 all the way to 2018. So you can find these Galaxy fleet buses in the Gun Hill Bus Depot in the bronx. But they are scrapped so they aren't around anymore.

Since when did the D60HFs Run on the Bx32?

They’ve made a few sporadic trips on the Bx32. Between the fall of 2017 and spring of 2018, a bus from the Bx1 / Bx2 ran back uptown from Mott Haven on the Bx32 to Kingsbridge, then went back to the depot.

They were running in service for nearly 20 years... which is well above their average life expectancy (it's typically 15 years, give or take). Not to mention that they were pretty much falling apart towards the end of their time in service.
