I'm embarrassed to admit this video moved me to tears. I think because the lyrics are so poignant from Legolas' perspective, being an immortal loving a mortal (be it as a friend or as a lover), he will eventually be left alone. I haven't read the books, but I recently discovered that Legolas only departed for the Undying lands once Aragorn had come to pass. That gives fuel to me shipping this pairing but at the same time I find that incredibly sad.
