@@ToledoRails, the entire video is worth watching! I just watched the whole thing with headphones on my big 22 inch LCD PC computer!!!!! WOW!!!! I don't understand people watching videos/productions on mobile phones! Those don't give the full effect! I immersed myself into this! Hey, I got this train's arrival back into Owosso December 21, 2019 with great friend "Mazon!" Then the night departure! It was the last run of the season! Actually the last run before the "Virus" closed operations! Fittingly it had GLC "10th Anniversary" GP35 393!!!!! I was so happy to finally see that engine operating! I live in Roseville, MI! Hey, in 2021 they leased ex Amtrak LTEX F40PH 310! Awesome during Amtrak's 50th Anniversary year! Got that one twice, 12-11 and 12-18! Then in 2022 1225 was down for wheel overhaul! Now it was very awesome!!!!! Great Precision leasing (PNLX) diesels! Ex Georges Creek "WM" SD40 PNLX 7471 and ex MARC GP40WH-2 PNLX 57! Got this twice, 12-17 and 12-18! I got S-VHS videos and film pictures (35mm/Medium Format)! 😏 S.R.I. will not use G.L.C. engines anymore because they cannot guarantee an engine! We will see if this holds true! They were supposed to use ex GTW "High Hood" GLLX GP9 4428 starting in 2019! Somehow it wasn't done! They even put ditch lights on, but mostly is just used for switching! Why? I deserve a break from 1225 as I have captured it over 10 times! I will be back though!!!!! 😬 GREAT VIDEO!!!! 🤩 Check out this picture north of Owosso, MI that my late Dad (RCJ I) took during the 1225 "Polar Express" first season! It was on its way to "Santa's Village" in Chesaning! December 19, 2004 (Canon 35mm S.L.R.): www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=5651168 RJ

Outstanding storyline from beginning to the last frame! Please take very well-deserved credit for providing the BEST source for gaining documented prime locations in order to “chase” PM 1225. THANK YOU! The fact that video was captured at 5AM as 1225 took center stage onto the “New Buffalo” Turntable suggests a privileged person was filming. Your selected locations en route to Ashley appears to be well orchestrated through excellent collaboration among a few dedicated individuals. I enjoy watching your posts from time-to-time on a 65 inch OLED TV… Beyond the vids showcasing 1225, I truly enjoyed watching “East Broad Top 16.” The 30 minutes of video were award worthy! A good friend of mine happens to incorporate the EBT on his 2-Rail O Scale Layout in Williamsburg that models Horseshoe Curve as a centerpiece on his PRR Middle Division c.1952. Maybe you’ll get an opportunity to ride in 1225’s Cab this (2023) season. Adding some narrative and a sound byte from the crew could add a bit of human interest. Reviewing a few uploads available from your Channel, most definitely identifies you as passionate about Steam. Well done!

Ngl the inner polar express foamer in me wishes that they would do these under the polar express train ride name since that was the exact locomotive used for the movie lol. But I also understand why they don’t. They probably just don’t wanna pay the licensing fees to use the name which I can get. Awesome work on the video!!

GT Rail Fan Productions C&O 3 Chime. Off of a Hudson (a 300, not a yellow belly)
@GTRailFanProductions5 жыл бұрын
@@ToledoRails really? I was told NKP 765 wore a C&O Hancock Long Bell 3-Chime from a Hudson as it's secondary whistle during the 1991 NRHS Convention. Wonder if this is the one it wore because it sounds just like it.
@ToledoRails5 жыл бұрын
GT Rail Fan Productions it’s possible? But I had heard it was a IC Steamboat, and later a C&O Kanawha’s whistle in 1993. No clue if it’s the same whistle but the C&O 3 chime information is direct from the owner
@GTRailFanProductions5 жыл бұрын
@@ToledoRails yeah I heard it was C&O. Never heard it was a IC Steamboat. This whistle in the video sounds just like the one from 1991. If 1225 was going a lot faster I feel like it would sound the same.
@GTRailFanProductions5 жыл бұрын
@@ToledoRails I'm 1993, 765 was dressed as C&O 2765 and wore a C&O hooter whistle as the secondary whistle.

@@ToledoRails you know whats strange, you cant name your train the polar express because of copyright reasons, but the locomotive is the basis for the polar express in the first place.... not complaining, just an odd fact...

Excellent video and I'm only a few minutes in! Just a question, if I may ask, how were you able to film the first few scenes? Did you ask ahead of time or was the crew gracious enough to let someone film there at that time? Thanks!
