I'm so elated that all the tips LEIA gave were the exact things I've been doing myself. Yayyy! I totally agree with the "sleep on it". Also, I have observed that if I just learn choreo "A" good enough and move on to a new choreo "B" and come back to choreo "A" after 2 weeks or so, I find myself suddenly hitting the previously trickier moves sharply! Time really makes things better.

This works for problem solving too, if you have a math problem or whatever you’re stuck on give it a few days and go back and do it. It’s because you process it in a new way I guess? Idk but it works, for games too

6:21 that is so relatable, when a particular choreo is so hard to do, and i always messed it up, im just gonna curse until i memorozed it. Learning choreo is fun, and frustrating at the same time.

hey everyone! just a tip for those who wants to learn next level; during the chorus (the point part of the dance) where the hands have to be straight, i'd suggest you to practice put your palm against the wall as if you're pushing it forward for either 3-5 mins once everyday OR more than once, (just make sure it doesn't past 5 mins for every time you do it cause your wrist will hurt). this definitely worked for me & my dance lines looks alot better during the chorus c: p.s thank you sm for your hard word, leia!! we love you

@@chinimini19 yeah you have a problem XD jk just don't get carried away by the internet don't scroll through it and get control by yourself I suggest Set alarms or timers like,, if you want to spend an hour online set an alarm for it or just Distribute the time during the day that's help me a lot

It is definitely difficult to match the artist's energy you're doing a great job. Keep going.. Even if you learn through tutorials I definitely recommend a lot of these tips. Especially watching the dance practice a few times. That way, when the person teaching the tutorial is explaining a move, you know which part they are talking about and will do a better job learning it.

i love this! another thing i do is learning the chorus first because in most cases is an easy and memorable section, (and if it's a really popular song you probably have already memorized some of the moves from seeing it repeatedly online) and when I'm learning the rest of the verses i feel more accomplished than if i start to learn a choreo from zero.

Omg thank you for this!!! I’ve been wanting to get better at kpop dancing but I always get discouraged when I keep messing up or I’m just not getting it. So I always end up giving up cause although I’m a perfectionist I’m also an over thinker and have low motivation. The tip of watching it the night before will definitely come in handy.
