I badly needed this! I used to love dance ever since i was kid. I used to learn dance just by watching them but later in middle school i was insulted by a teacher for dancing bad , when others praticed for 3 days and i practiced for not even 3 hours. Due to my self esteem i wanted to give up , but your video brings up my confidence leia, you have no idea how much i want tell you that you inspire me. Thank you, really! I stopped dancing a couple months ago. I felt too aware of my body (have extreme low self esteem) and looking at the idols dancing so well, moving so fluently and everything looks perfect I got so depressed and demotivated. But I am slowly going back to it with your tutorials! I want to focus more on my progress and not compare my dancing with idols... hard to do as a perfectionist, but you should not think too much while dance but enjoy moving around!

@@creekaura Hey, I'm okay, thank you for asking! I am not good at giving advice and don't know your situation but try not to take yourself too seriously and learn to really have fun dancing to the music you like. Skill and Confidence will come with practice. I don't film myself or dance in front of the mirror, because I still cannot look at myself hehe but on bad days I consider dancing as a workout. After all, we teach this ourselves. I try to look at idols' performances and practices differently, detaching the word perfect from them and think "they have resources and time to be this skilled, what can I do with the resources and time that I have?" It's a long journey of this stupid self-love heh but we can do it! We do this for ourselves, not for an audience and that is perfectly fine.

I have always loved dancing since I was a child. Even though I don't do it in front of others, being able to do a choreo in the right way makes me happy. It's not that long I got into kpop and some of their choreographys intrigued me. But I was struggling with this type of movements (fast music and movements, hip-hop needs isolation of body parts, etc.). I was randomly looking for a dance tutorial and thus found your channel. And I absolutely love your way of explaining things.

i've been struggling with a lot of movements recently after recovering from a dislocated knee. For the duration, it has basically only been me watching the videos to see if i can remember moves so that I can try them when I recover properly but it hasn't worked and even my simple leg movements look weird. I know that you may not be feeling 100% right now, but you will get stronger as each day goes by. even just watching the dance video on repeat while seated or laying down is way more beneficial than most people would imagine. remember to listen to your body, be patient with it and know that you will be back to normal in no time
