The SL camera is really an outstanding body, particularly in terms of building . But it might be better to wait for the SL2.

I can not understand why Leica never made one R camera whit autofocus like the SL system now. The last R cameras(R8 and R9) are amazing body´s whit great ergonomics only lack the autofocus for bring more photo market for Leica. I still not understand why Leica never treat the R system whit more respect...never!

Great, but the sensor is the weak point in every Leica. The nicest cameras in the world, but can’t really compete. Sony Sensors could be a game-changer for Leica. What’s holding you back?

This is kind of like saying that slide film can't compete with color negative film. It's measurably true, but meaningless in a practical sense.

I've just sold my Sony A7 III after getting my SL. The Sony did'nt compete with the joy of use a SL, even if Sonys sensor might be slightly better. :)
